An exceptional find so far from the big city

The service, wine list and menu are all excellent. Be sure to try their gorgonzola bruschetta, gazpacho and slow-cooked beef. And if you still have room, the chocolate dome dessert will make you smile from ear to ear. Enjoy!

We ate here Friday night, and it was so good, we came back Saturday as well. Their specials were outstanding, and the service friendly. We shared two starters, and entree and dessert each night, and all were exceptional.

I have friends who travel from Portland to eat at this small restaurant. Creative menu, excellent, local-sourced food, distinct wine. The owners are the cooks and wait staff. Everyone is friendly, and I have never felt rushed. This is a place to go for a romantic meal, or a meal with good friends. Enjoy a bottle of wine, savor good... More

The Silver Grille is, hands down, the best restaurant in Silverton, and probably the best restaurant in the state of Oregon as well. Every meal is carefully prepared using ingredients selectively sourced from the immediate agricultural area (with the exception of the fish, which is driven in fresh from the Oregon Coast daily), and balanced with both exceptional expertise and... We made reservations and they refused to seat us. Our reservations were for seven yet they said it would be an hour wait! Then a couple came in without a child and they were seated right away. I guess veterans with children need not enter.

Good bistro food and good wines. The service was excellent and the salad fresh. Very good place for a nice dinner.

The best place to eat in silverton; a small, charming bistro with an inventive menu and lovely service. We had the gorgonzola bruschetta, the strawberry tomato gazpacho and the speciality pasta. wonderful wine selections.

Absolutely wonderful food! We went to Silver Grille for the first time based on the good reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed! The Gorgonzola Bruschetta appetizer was sublime. I could eat that every day. I went with the roasted chicken and my husband had the lamb pasta. We were both delighted by the quality and quantity of our... More

Upon arriving in Silverton, I knew absolutely nothing about the town, where to eat, etc. I stumbled across the Silver Grill and, even though I didn't have a reservation, was immediately seated in a wonderful table situated in the front window. The local ingredients in the food were beyond amazing and the wine from Pudding River was quite tasty.

The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I had the day's special chicken wrapped in bacon plus chicken with pesto dish. My husband had a NY steak with a fabulous sauce. We began with the Gorgonzola Bruschetta, yum, and ended with a very tasty dessert. Atmosphere was very quietly pleasant, and the meal was paced perfectly. We are from Napa... More
