Staying at the Oregon Garden Resort (fab) and wandered around Silverton last night to find dinner. We couldn't commit till we came across the Silver Grille. Definitely us. Outstanding wines, and an excellent chef to go with the interesting menu. I loved the kale and spinach salad with walnuts and pancetta and the pulled pork special, and my partner said... More

We found this restaurant on Tripadvisor and were impressed enough by the reviews to make a reservation for this evening. When we arrived, we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxed with a bit of a Portland feel. All staff were helpful, attentive and friendly from the hostess and server to the owner/chef who regularly checked on us,... More

My second and last visit. Dined there tonight traveling on business. It was a slow night for them but it still took over 30 minutes for dinner to arrive. I ordered the fish special which was average to slightly above average. I had to ask for a refill on iced tea so was charged twice. They did take it off... More

Three of us had dinner here on Silverton's "First Friday". Our meals were impressive!! Two of us had the sea food special, a Dover sole with shrimp mousse and much more (the terms of which were thoughtfully explained by the chef, but which were all beyond my culinary skills). Suffice it to say the food was delicious. The service was... More

Cozy, quaint atmosphere with a good variety of menu items. Excellent service and wine list. Our tri-tip special was delicious, but the vegetables on the side weren't anything special. Excellent gazpacho and caesar salad. Nice place to meet friends... good bar area, but small.

We are from Portland which abounds with great restaurants, so we have pretty high standards. We were out of town and hungry so we thought we would try The Silver Grill. We arrived late, just before closing. They were extremely busy and still very gracious and accommodating. They were out of all the daily specials so we ordered off the... More

The food is amazing - limited menu selection but very local & sustainably focused. Their gluten free bread was the best I have ever eaten - and the chef came out to our table to explain his process. Very personal touch.

Two weeks of traveling in Oregon; hiking and biking and eating. Were staying in Silverton prior to hiking Silver Falls State Park. Dining options seemed limited at best. Ate dinner here and had an amazing meal. I wasn't that hungry so just opted for two appetizers, the Gorgonzola Bruschetta and Orange Ginger Soup with some kind of awesome cucumber "fluff"... More

I had the steak it was perfectly cooked and was delicious. It was the best steak I think I've ever had. Will definitely be returning when I go back to Silverton! Little bit on the pricey side for me but it was worth every dollar.
