Four of us popped into The Gathering Spot for lunch yesterday. Absolutely delectable crepes with ham, brie and spinach served with a bowl of soup. I managed not to lick my plate. A pleasant staff and good service and again...good food!

Lovely little cafe with great breakfast selections and lovely staff. The apple pancakes were delicious as was the omelette served with perfectly done potatoes.

My husband and I have stopped here to pick up coffee and pastries in the past, but we have always wanted to visit for a sit down breakfast. This past week we finally pulled it off and will definitely do it again! My husband had the Lavender White Mocha (oh so good!) and the apple cinnamon pancakes with garlic tofu... More

We were looking for a great lunch near the heart of this quaint little town. We found one place closed and a second with terrible service. Our 3rd try was at the Gathering Spot and it was worth the wait. We found a charming small town cafe with good service and great food. I had a excellent panini and my... More

Had a large group so did make a reservation. The service was excellent. I had a bacon and bleu omelet (chopped bacon and bleu cheese) with country potatoes and toast. Delicious. Coffee was also good.

The restaurant is only open for dinner one night a month on the first Friday of each month. We had a fantastic dinner. We had the Halibut Cheeks in a cream sauce with corn and new potatoes and the Butternut Squash Gnocchi. Everything was fresh, flavorful and delicious. We each had a different soup with dinner and both were excellent.... More

We often split a plate so we eat more sensibly, especially when we travel. We ordered a sandwich to split (which came w/ a side) plus an extra side (bowl of soup). We received a glass of water when we arrived and it was never refilled. When our bill came it had a charge of $4 for splitting. The waitress... More

The reviews looked good, but when we finally found the place it was more of a backery/coffee shop than a breakfast place. Menu was overpriced and almost nowhere to sit. Dissapointed!

Fresh ingredients, warm and friendly service, and best of all they worked very hard with gracious attitudes to meet my specific lifestyle/dietary needs ("Paleo", which means no grains, corn, soy, sugar) In a town where burgers and fries are the norm, it was very refreshing to feel so at home with the menu, which includes (but is not limited to)... This gathering spot really is a cut above most places of its type. I ordered soup and a sandwich, and both were outstanding. In fact, I have to put the soup (a chilled green curry corn chowder) in my top ten. Ever. The sandwich was served on a well-made, fresh croissant, and the roasted turkey was not deli meat, but...
