This place is five miles from the town of Silver Lake which is very small. And Silver Lake is a long way from just about anywhere. Yet, it has supported this place for 23 years. They take only cash, you must have a reservation. The choices are steak or chicken. Better bring a cooler for your leftovers because you will... More

The Cowboy Dinner Tree is one place you have to visit. Food was a great and the rustic place is friendly and relaxed. Reservations required but its worth it. Order an extra serving of rolls when you make reservations to take with you. You will have great left overs. The steaks are huge and outstanding or choose a whole roasted... More

The cowboy dinner tree proved to be well worth the drive, the food and service was fantastic!! The setting was remarkable and for $28 a person, we had no regrets!! Btw we drove 350 miles round... I ate at the restaurant and also rented one of their log cabins while on a bicycle tour of southern Oregon. The restaurant is literally in the boondocks, five miles south of the small town of Silver Lake, OR, but they fed 135 people in ten seatings the Thursday I was there. I phoned for a reservation (required) from Silver... More

This place is still great. Each meal comes with either a full rotisserie cooked chicken or massively huge steak. Both are very tasty. All meals were served with the best rolls I have ever eaten, tasty bean soup, and incredible salad. Try the salad with a mixture of the ranch and honey mustard dressing they provide. You can wash it... More

My father in-law has been wanting to get the 32oz steaks for a while. He finally made us a reservation for this past weekend and it was so much fun. Although it was a ways out from Bend, the experience and memory will last a life time. The decor and the staff was fantastic. First course, salad- basic salad but... More

There is no possible way to go home hungry from this place. The steaks are the size of a small roast and cooked perfectly.

The Cowboy Dinner Tree is an unique place. Four of us dined there last Sunday. Our food was much more than plentiful, and cooked to perfection. The service was flawless. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

We heard about Cowboy Dinner Tree by word of mouth and started making plans to go. We made our reservations several months in advance so we could stay in one of the cabins. It was truly worth the wait!!! We decided to detour to Fort Rock to make the most of our visit since we came from Eugene but that... More

100 miles southeast of Bend, Oregon. The Cowboy dinner tree is a place you want to enjoy with friends and bring along your camera to take those pictures of a one time experience. Reservations are required and you will need to select from steak or chicken as your main course. There is no question that baggies are provided for the... More
