Save your apetite!

Eat the delicious rolls, beans, salad and dessert and save your meat for the road. You'll have enough for several meals. Unbelievable amount of food for $28.

Chicken or Steak? Order it when you make reservations to this hole-in-the-wall unbelievable place 80 miles southeast from anywhere. Bring cash and your own booze (to enjoy in the parking lot - CDT does not have an OLCC license.) Also, bring a cooler with you to bring home the leftovers. My wife usually get a chicken and a steak. Good food as always. Waitress was alright not great. Had to ask for drink refills many times. Several lights inside were burned out which made it dim and hard to see. Pricey at $28 each but always leftovers. A two hour trip one way from Klamath Falls, not sure the four hour total trip is worth it. Will be a... More

Family style, simple, tasty and filling. Well prepared food in a rustic environment. One step short of camping in the outback of Oregon. A memory making experience.

A group of 14 of us made the trek to Silver Lake, OR, to go to the Cowboy Dinner Tree. We had a blast! We not only had dinner, but stayed the night as well. We arrived early with our motor-homes and 5th-wheels so we could have a cocktail or two before dinner (Cowboy Dinner Tree does not have an... More

This rustic venue is in S.E. Oregon in the high desert. Over an hour from any city of any size. Dinner can either be a whole chicken or a 27 to 31 oz. steak. Comes, with salad, beans, potato, etc. Choice of Iced tea or lemonade & desert.. No alcholic beverages, although you may bring your own and drink outside.... More

A world class experience ! Your choice of chicken or beef. The chicken is a whole rotisserie chicken done over a grill, and the steak is a 28 to 30 oz steak grilled medium rare. You get fresh salad with homemade dressing, cast iron baked sweet yeast rolls, homemade soup, baked potato, and strawberry shortcake. To drink is coffee, iced... More

Finally got to try this place out. Long drive even from Bend but totally worth it. Arrived early, plenty to check out as we waited, including a cool gift shop. Soon enough our party was seated and drinks were served, salad orders taken and huge, home made dinner rolls as well as awesome beans appeared on the table. The main... More

Great experience, we absolutely loved it. 28-30oz sirloin cooked perfectly. Served medium rare unless specified otherwise. Your meal starts with salad with homemade dressing followed by homemade soup and fresh baked rolls. Then your protein either a huge steak or a whole chicken. Must make reservations and specify choice of meat when doing so. Great service and friendly staff, we... More
