COME HUNGRY !

A world class experience ! Your choice of chicken or beef. The chicken is a whole rotisserie chicken done over a grill, and the steak is a 28 to 30 oz steak grilled medium rare. You get fresh salad with homemade dressing, cast iron baked sweet yeast rolls, homemade soup, baked potato, and... read more

Finally got to try this place out. Long drive even from Bend but totally worth it. Arrived early, plenty to check out as we waited, including a cool gift shop. Soon enough our party was seated and drinks were served, salad orders taken and huge, home made dinner rolls as well as awesome beans appeared on the table. The main... More

Great experience, we absolutely loved it. 28-30oz sirloin cooked perfectly. Served medium rare unless specified otherwise. Your meal starts with salad with homemade dressing followed by homemade soup and fresh baked rolls. Then your protein either a huge steak or a whole chicken. Must make reservations and specify choice of meat when doing so. Great service and friendly staff, we... More

We have been to Cowboy Dinner Tree several times and my husband and I agree, it's always excellent!! It's so much fun to bring someone for the first time. To see the reaction when they first see the exterior and hear them say "ummmm this is it? Are you joking?" And to see their eyes get big when they see... More

This was my fifth visit to the Dinner Tree. Our group of eight had both chicken and beef. On previous visits the 30 oz steak was a bit fatty and tough, but good. This time however, the huge sirloin was wonderful. Tender, tasty and cooked to prefection. The dinner was family style starting with soft drinks and salad, followed by... More

Being from La Pine, we visit at least once a year. First time there, we were taken aback when our waitress brought a second small steak out for my husband, explaining that they felt his portion was a little small. We took home all of the small one, 3/4 of mine and over half of my husbands. Enjoyed dinners for... More

I have only one thing to say. OMG!!!! Don't be put off by the looks of the outside of the building. This is without a doubt the biggest and best steak I have ever eaten.

This is a special place for an excellent meal with lots of ambiance. Located some 60 miles from LaPine, Oregon, off Hiway 31, it takes a bit of special effort to go to this restaurant. They are open Thursday through Sunday. Reservations are required and they do not accept credit cards. Bring cash. There is no alcohol available or allowed.... More

We made reservations, and when you do, you decide if you want a whole chickend or a HUGE piece of beef. Only three (our of 9) went with the chicken. It is great food, starts with a salad, soup or beans and meat, then a little desert. No alcohol served, you can either have unsweetened ice tea, or lemonade with... More
