We have visited Seaside on numerous occasions and we've never stopped by Sam's. We decided to give it a try as we were walking towards the beach and grabbed a glimpse of the menu. Upon entering the restaurant it really gives you the beachy feel and it's a great family restaurant. Good food, large portions, friendly wait staff, full bar,... More

Decent flavor and good portions. Nice place to eat. I like their fries, not salty at all. We are definitely coming back.

Stopped in Seaside on our way north from Cannon Beach. Split a halibut fish and chips meal. Seemed dipped in pretty fresh oil, and was light and tasty. Waitress was prompt and amiable although we were the only ones in the place (on a rainy Oct day). Great classic rock for background music. We would stop in again.

The restaurant wasn't overly clean or updated, but it had pretty good fish and chip baskets. The prices were more affordable than other restaurants in town. They had good service, but it was more of a bar atmosphere in the restaurant area. If you are looking for less expensive food in Seaside it is worth a try.

We enjoyed Sam's Halibut Fish & Chips to the max! All 4 of us adults had that and a fine beer selection made it tough but we each enjoyed a brew, too. There were plenty of high chairs for little people (we always sanitize, just sayin' - no offense) and tables that could be joined for bigger groups. Really delightful!... More

A nice and tasty lunch was here, usual/standard seafood platter choices and sandwiches to choose from, beers and sodas and some deli style entrees. The fries seemed handmade but I couldn't tell for sure.Prices were on the high side though but the food was tasty enough and I would return here.

We were just walking the strip late for dinner. I wanted something not 'fast food' for our family of four. I chose this place because it looked quiet and small. There were no distracting t.v.'s on the walls. The music was perfect mix of 70's rock and my husband and I had fun guessing the songs and artists. The server... More

We went for our anniversary dinner. The food was so bad that it actually ruined our celebration. The fried calamari was good, but the portion was very small. I ordered the tuna sand which with chips. The chips were horrible . They tasted very burned. They coated my mouth with an awful burned stench that I could not get rid... More
