Great Sunday Brunch!

I have been to McKeown's numerous times since they opened in downtown Seaside about a decade ago. And, while their dinner and pub offerings are good, our favorite is their Sunday brunch buffet. At $12.99, you can eat a great meal that will fill you up all day and leave you with pleasant... read more

As we walked in three people were on there way out. They all said the food was great! Tried the Irish nachos, very good. It could be a meal in its self. Enjoyed the fish and chips, fries with the peel still on. Delightfully, light ale batter, huge cuts of fish. Then there was the chowder, my mouth is still watering.... More

So our friends got there first and had happy hour. They were very pleased with the service, drinks and appetizers especially the fried artichokes. So we returned for dinner. I was disappointed in the crab cakes. Yes they were supposedly made there and fresh, but I found them heavily breaded, but not a crisp exterior, and except for the fresh... More

Great location if you are staying next the ocean. Food was good. It was slightly more expensive than i would have wanted to pay but it is due to the destination of seaside. What i really liked was how they actually brought all deserts on a platter so you can see what they look like. A great trick because you... More

I go to Seaside often and each time I go, I make sure I visit this place. The food is reasonably priced and it is delicious! The service is great ! I am never disappointed.

We have eaten here many times over the years, but we prefer their breakfast's. From bacon and eggs to their great waffles. You will always have a good experience. Recommend!

Started with Onion Rings which were beer battered. They were good, but you could tell they were fried in the same oil as fish. Very large portion for an appetizer. Portions are large. Great variety of local seafood.

Returned to McKeown's and had a very good lunch. My wife's fish and chips were very tasty, and my Corned Beef & Swiss sandwich was enough for two! Wait staff is very friendly and setting is very nice. Real napkins for lunch; much needed with the sandwich. Pleasant change from the hustle-bustle of downtown Seaside.

I came here with 12 women from my high school class for dinner. The food was good and the wine pour generous. I had a hamburger. The most embarrassing thing happened when one of our members, who is old enough to know better, began berating the waiter because the restaurant was out of oysters on a Saturday night. She was... We stopped in for a nice dinner & we really got a treat. Food was tasty, service was great & we were able to watch the sunset as we ate. Don't miss this gem in Seaside - the food is as good as it is in the city, and better prices. House wine was delicious too!
