Great Hole in the Wall just off HWY 101

For those of you too busy trying to make your way into Seaside while pulling off of HWY 26, you likely drive past this tiny little tavern every time trying to get into town. This small and charming little bar is well worth the stop and the attempt to get there. There is a reason this tiny... read more

We really liked eating at the Relief Pitcher, they make the best burgers on the coast, cut their own fresh fries and make their own coleslaw and soups. The last couple of times we ordered the food was terrible and cold. The fresh cut fries were limpy and greyish color, changing the oil once a week should fix that. The... More

This is a funky little tavern with pool tables and TV's, but the food was recommended, we were tired and it was close to the hotel. The bartender/waiter was pleasant and the food was excellent - do not be afraid to eat here!

After all the years I have been visiting Cannon Beach during Thanksgiving week I decided to try a burger, I guess I was judging the place based on its weather beaten exterier. You can design your burger. I opted for a cheese burger add bacon and avocado. It was delicious and the fries are fresh cut my favorite. Beer selection... More

After15 years, the Relief Pitcher still rocks! Affordable drinks, cold beer and pool tables. The food is good there too. Just a local's spot that is very user friendly....not fancy!

Relief Pitcher looks like a dive bar from the road, and that's really what it is. The food is great, and our server went out of the way to check all their breads because I have some intolerances. That being said. It is heated by a wood or gas stove. It was 38 degrees, unseasonably cold, and the bathrooms are... More

We went for the burgers that my boyfriend had been raving about since he first ate there a year and a half ago. I was not disappointed. The burgers were giant and juicy with a thick patty, sturdy bread, and crispy veggies. It tasted very fresh. The hand-cut fries were yummy too. It was packed with locals, but we got... More

From various reviews I had the idea this place had the best burgers on the north coast of OR. And they promoted that they had hand cut fries. So that is exactly what I ordered. A bit disappointed. The burger, which according to the menu was 1/2 lb. was about 1/4 lb and cooked to cardboard although I requested, and... More

Okay let me preface this with a bit of back story. For one as a local I hear every. other. local. in seaside. rave about this place. We call it The RP. When my mom gave birth to me 23 years ago her first request was a Relief Pitcher burger. So all my life I have grown up with this... More

Looking for great seafood, etc., at moderate prices, with great service for lunch or dinner? The head out to the Relief Pitcher on the South side of Seaside, right off hiway 101. Yep, this place does not look like much from the outside, and you will think the same when you get inside: but it's the food and service that... More
