This is the place to go in Seaside for meat. The food is consistently good, with attentive service. Drinks are well mixed, and the beer is cold. As locals, we spend more of our dining out budget here than all other places combined.

Don't be fooled by the Bigfoot theme- solid steak and prime rib with large servings and usual sides. Rustic interior, effecient service and crowded, both at breakfast and dinner. We can't all be wrong. Very good casual dining in Seaside.

Very fast service! It wasn't terribly busy when we arrived, but that changed after we got there. Rustic look, large portions, interesting sampler, but fairly expensive. Not amazing or especially memorable. It was right next door to our hotel and we were too tired after driving all day to hop in the car and drive again to another place. Next... More

Chowder is among the best. We split a broasted chicken plate which was plenty for two seniors. Just ask for two plates because there is a fee if they split it. I'm sure the beef is very tasty but the prices were a little high. Nice wait staff and you have the feeling that locals come here.

Our server was great! We were seated promptly and brought waters. We ordered the crab dip as an appetizer and were impressed with the portion size. The fish and chips were great, as was the grilled salmon. Opt for the garlic mash rather than the fries, it's delicious here. The kids meals come with smiley fries, which my youngest LOVED.... More

Had the 10 oz prime rib and it was GREAT. Cook the way I ordered it with a baked potato and salad. The glass of wine with my meal was better than average on volume. We've been to so many restaurants where the amount of wine served was below average causing us to order a second glass. Service was very... More

Some of it is because of great memories shared with friends and family, some of it is the ambiance, some of it is the food. It all adds up to a place I'd happily tell anyone to go to and would definitely stop anytime I was in the area.
