Good food, bad hotel

Food was great, no substitutions however and if you are staying at the hotel no room service after 9pm (more like 8:30pm).

Our party of three reserved a patio table early in the day to insure that we would have a wonderful view for our eight o'clock dinner. Upon our return, we were given the outside corner table next to a heating unit and dead rose bush. We could barely see the ocean from this table. The waitress was polite, but not... More

The waitstaff was very personable, fun, nice, and attentive. The food was out of this world phenomenal. Had the calamari and it was seasoned to perfection, and amazingly tender. The clam chowder was the best I've ever had. The seafood alfredo was creamy, rich, and delicious! I ended up taking some back to the hotel for a later snack. I... More

I had the Beef bacon barbecue burger. It was bland. My family was not impressed with their food either.

Why Maggie's isn't up at the top of the list is beyond me. As a native Oregonian and a former commercial fisherman I am next to impossible to please with seafood, and Maggie's gets a top 5 star rating from me. I had the Alaskan halibut, and it's among the best I've ever had. Drinks are stiff and done as... More

We were tired and hungry after a long day of travel last Monday night. We decided to try Maggie’s, mostly because it was next door to where we were staying. The facts that the atmosphere was delightful and the menu was intriguing just made us anticipate our dinner even more. Picture this: We walk into a nice looking restaurant that... More

Fancy food, but forced ambiance. We didn't dislike our meal, but it wasn't anything special. If anything it was a little pricey.

We enjoy the outside seating on a sunny day. The food items are flavorful and tasty. The atmosphere inside is cozy and elegant. Food has style and is delicious. On the higher end of pricing, but you can see the effort in quality. Nice find.

My hotel was right next door to Maggie's, so after my somewhat lacking continental breakfast I headed here for something more substantial. I had gone there the previous evening, but being a man of limited means I opted to dine elsewhere (the cheapest entree on the dinner menu was $27). I was anticipating a somewhat expensive breakfast with an ocean... More

We went here on our last night in Seaside. Really good food that is not seafood! I had the truffle Mac and cheese that hit the spot. My husband had the strip steak with croquette potatoes. He thought it was very good and enjoyed the meal!
