On a windy, wet day we literally stumbled into the Taco Shop. So glad we did. The fish tacos were outstanding as was the humungous burrito. Pricing is excellent. We had lunch for two with beverages under $15. Service was great. While we were there someone called in an order. The kitchen had it waiting on the table when they... More

The Mexican rice is not my favorite. The beans were OK. I had pork tacos and the meat was covered in some sort of BBQ sauce. I was not impressed. Hubby had a fajita quesadilla which was just chicken and cheese, and a bean and cheese burrito. The burrito was very big. The hot sauce was OK. I am not... More

Went here to taste their hand made tacos. Wife got the fish tacos (excellent). Chips and bean dip (excellent). Beef tostada (excellent). Pork enchiladas (very good; need to shred the pork instead of chopped). Great service and price. Hot food.

So pleased we stopped in here. My husband and I each ordered the cheese enchilada combination plate along with an order of chips and salsa. The chips were fresh and crisp. The sauce was not the typical tomato based sauce we were accustomed to, but it was fabulous. The refried beans were made with vegetable oil, so we were able... More

My daughter in law and grandson are vegan. This place offers a wonderful vegetarian burrito that had a delicious sauce over the veggies. The rice and beans were the best I've ever tasted, reminded me of my grandmas home cooking. Clean eating area, attentive servers, and overall nice warm place to take a break and eat good food. We'll be... More

My wife isn't a huge fan of Mexican food, but she loves the food here... She doesn't like cilantro and is allergic to onions and has a gluten sensitivity. No problem. Martin was very accommodating and used corn tortillas instead of flour to make her a vegetarian burrito. I had the lenguas (tongue) Guadalajaran-style burrito. We did a take out... More

Like my husband said when you walk into a Mexican place and all of the other customers are native Spanish speakers you know you have found a good place. Great food - not a fancy joint but will fill you up. Yum

Years ago we used to enjoy the Stand in Seaside for Mexican food, but in recent years the hours are odd and the restaurant was not as clean as it should be so we started looking for a new option. We have found it in the Guadalajara Taco Shop. Since my grandson up-ended our table causing water to go everywhere... More

We had the three taco plate and the steak burrito. Both were fine, not memorable, but at a good price point. Would be nice to have a better selection of sauces, and chips and salsa to start. Very clean restaurant and the young girl who served us was nice.
