Little gem

Great homemade Mexican food! The real deal. Two tacos for $5 and more than I could eat. Nothing fancy but great food.

Went because of the trip advisor rating and it was just not good. Poor atmosphere, poor service and poor food at best.

If you want American Mexican don't eat here. This is authentic Mexican food prepared well. I had the three tacos (street tacos; no lettuce or cheese) which came with beans and rice. The tacos are chicken, steak and pork tacos all in an their own original sauce topped with cilantro and limes on the side. The corn tortillas are hand... More

We wanted to try someplace that was not crowded. This place does not take credit cards so you have to be ready with cash. Good food. But with only one cook and one server, things can get slow even with an empty hall. The name on the window said Guadalajara I did not remember the Taco Shop part.

My sibling and I decide to eat lunch here after reading the reviews. The food was amazing, the prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was very authentic. Our only complaint is the staff wasn't was friendly as I would have expected. Very standoff, ignorant and rude. We were disappointed.

Authentic Mexican food. Great salsa. Very reasonably priced. They take cash only, so be prepared. The quality and quantity of food is very good.

We stopped in yesterday (Sat.) at 6:20 p.m. and we're informed they were closed. I pointed out that the sign said 7 and the lady working just stated that they were closing early. I asked when they would be open Sun. and she hesitated and said that she thinks they were closing tomorrow as well and they would be open... More

The only rice that tastes like this is my grandma's. And I get to eat lots of wonderful Mexican food at my house that is authentic. My husband enjoyed his lengua (tongue) tacos and I had my typical enchiladas of chicken with rice and beans. I don't like beans from restaurants, and I was so glad I ordered them here.... More
