We had the salmon it was great. The calamari appetizer was not that great. Good wine selection. We really enjoyed the meal and the well done restaurant and the water all makes for a great meal, whatever the weather inside or out. Return ? Yes . Recommend? Yes.

Live only 5 miles away so coming to Mark's is not a big deal. We dropped in tonight to try the AYCE F&C and enjoyed it. Mark's friendly face wasn't there but the employees did a good job. As you can read from the other reviews here, we have also found this place to be amazing, cool, average, meh and... More

We made reservations for 8 at 6 pm and there was only 1 waitress on and she was slow! Food was cold and tasted terrible! Would never go back there again!

My son and daughter in law live quite close to this restaurant and while we were with them on holidays, they decided we would all go here for dinner. I had never been to a floating restaurant and I wasn't disappointed with this one. From the moment we walked through the door, the waiter was very attentive and even asked... More

I love spending time on the outdoor deck on the water. It is so relaxing and enjoyable. The waitresses are friendly and very knowledgeable regarding the menu. The drinks are good and the food is very good. I will always eat here when in the Portland area.

We had dinner here last night and I ordered their meatloaf. Apparently they had warmed up by frying it. The veggies served with it were cold. Too bad because it is a beautiful location. Avoid at all cost.

A comfortable restaurant with very good service and food. I loved this place primarily because of the overall environment: "on the water" atmosphere with all the service, good food and unpretentious physical surroundings one needs to relax and enjoy a meal. Initially, I felt it was the perfect place to eat outside on a hot day but I soon realized... More

Mark's on the Channel is a floating restaurant in McCuddy's Marina a short ride from the city of Portland. Your canine friend is welcome and on a hot, sunny day, you can bring your dog and sit outside on the deck that overlooks the channel. The food is really good and the service is fast. I recommend the fish and... More

One should not fry oysters, this is a mistake; I had to try them to be sure! A very nice meal in the cool breeze by the channel that included some very good tuna that was grilled to perfection. Staff most helpfull, cooking is competent and the menu varied. Very good local beers and I noticed some interesting wine including... More

I have eaten at Mark's on the Channel since he first opened and have never had a disappointing meal. What a change for Columbia County to have a real chef in the kitchen. I now live in NE Oregon and was in town to visit a friend. We made sure we went to Mark's for dinner. My salmon entree was... More
