We recently moved to sandy and as much as I love having these wonderful doughnuts close by I have a really hard time overlooking the rudeness of the employees. Its pretty common knowledge that this place isn't a nice and clean establishment...the building is old and seems very dirty. we came in and my son wanted a sprinkle doughnut. ..there... More

These are a must have on the way up the mountain. There are other donut places more famous in the area but these are the tastiest.

In Canada we have one of the greatest donut stores ever and it's called Tim Hortons but Within the last several years to save money they change the process and instead of making their donuts on site live there now premade in factories and ship to the stores. This of course has increase the profit margin for all the stockholders... More

If you haven't had a Cromut pastry here you haven't lived. You might as well go back to elementary school donuts at Voodoo. This deep fried croissant/donut is pure heaven was and is way less expensive than a bacon maple bar at Voodoos. Service at Joes on one occasion was darn right rude but maybe an abberation.

So we have tried them several times and EVERY TIME we have been disappointed. Inside the building it never seemed cleaned when we were there - broom and mop goes along way and no one ever said you only had to do it once a day! The dough seemed over worked which leads to a 'tough' product - which we... More

Maple bats!!! Need I say more??? The best doughnuts around these parts. Down home small bakery that is always busy from open to close. Never stop hearing locals stories of going there at 3am in the morning, and someone opening the door so they could get their doughnut fix....who does that???? Large variety of large doughnuts. On hwy26 east end... More

When one asks about Voodoo Doughnuts in Portland, here in Sandy we say "If you want doughnuts you gotta try Joe's". Joe's has been around since the last ice age and is a local legend. Great doughnuts worth standing in line for, and you probably will. Try the fritters (cherry, blueberry, and apple). It is nothing to see busses parked... More

The 'MUST PLACE' to stop when my friends head up to Kiyokawa Family Orchards and Mount Hood! So on my first visit to Oregon and my first trip to an apple orchard and Mount Hood this was on the list. A funny little place with a long line of people waiting ever so patiently for their treats! Exceedingly friendly and... More

Joe's is just down the street from my house. There's almost always a line of people waiting to get their donut fix. But this is because they are well worth it. Absolutely the best donuts! Not just in Sandy but anywhere. If you're heading up to Mt. Hood you really need to stop on the way and get some fresh... More
