Consistently great food and service. So many hamburgers to choose from, not greasy as far as burgers go and fries are slightly battered in something that tasted just great!

Visiting this place the first time will leave its memories on you for a lifetime. My husband and I had one of our first dates here 16 years ago and have since brought our 3 kids here after exhausting times on the mountain. The decor is log cabin rustic. The food hits the flavor mark every time. Massive portions which... More

First visit to Calamity Jane's. It's certainly a "joint". Great cowboy atmosphere. Burgers are the mainstay and the list is exhaustive. I opted for the pizza burger with pepperoni and sausage and absolutely LOVED IT! Sharon and the mushroom burger and was equally pleased. I live in Portland and wish this place was a little closer, but if I am... More

Calamity Jane's is conveniently located off of US26 on the way down from Mt. Hood toward Portland. My family stopped here on our way back from a rafting trip down the Deschutes River in central Oregon. Their variety of burgers is astounding -- including such items as a fudge and marshmallow burger. We settled for less adventurous fare, but the... More

The experience of dining here was enhanced by a greeter named "cat herder". He basically warmed you up with stories and corny jokes. Then he helped you to decide on a burger that was "different" to fit you. The burgers were very good and very generous! The atmosphere was fun and the ceiling of the restaurant you have to see... The decor is rustic western saloon from the outside and from the inside as well. The atmosphere is fun as is the menu. The "Inflation Burger" for $987 for "absolutely nothing" is just one of the hidden Easter-eggs of humor on the menu. We had 7 in our group and were seated right away. The service was very good and... Visited with three small children. Service was fast and friendly . Children enjoyed all the things to look at. Hamburgers were good and price reasonable.

This was a fun place to stop for a great burger, fun experience and something a little offbeat but NOT ANYMORE! Sadly this was my second and final bad visit to this restaurant. The restaurant felt dirty and claustrophobic, the service was horrendous and the food was bad and WAY overpriced!

My wife and I tried the rest in mid June and wife's burger had mushrooms that were inedible and tasted awful. tried to get someone in kitchen or a mgr to respond and even sent a sample via waitress. No one ever responded!! we finally just left as wife was not feeling well. Waitress was just great but swamped with... More
