Very nice surprise

We have driven by this place for years and stopped on a whim. What a nice surprise! Staff was excellent, especially general manager Karen who filled us in on backstory behind the ceiling lined with dollar bills. Decor otherwise fit with the name but that wasn't important. Food was what made... read more

Enter into the Old West when you come here. The menu is mouthwatering with burgers that you choose either 1 lb to three pounds of meat. The other popular patty is chicken fried steak sandwich. I particularly liked the "southwestern". If you like spicy you'll like this one. Bacon, chicken fried steak and mounds of condiments with Chipotle secret sauce... More

Food was good, but the floor was absolutely filthy and made it difficult to have an appetite. There was large pieces of food under the tables and in the walkways. I mentioned it to the woman processing our bill and she said yes we've been very busy. However the whole time we were eating workers were standing around doing nothing.

We were looking for a place to meet friends, have some food and some conversation. We stopped at Calamity Jane's in Sandy, Oregon and found what I believe to be the best hamburger joint in the Northwest. The staff are super friendly and make you feel like family. The decor is eclectic western with thousands of dollar bills taped to... More

Went here based only on Trip Advisor reviews and found them all to be pretty accurate. The three of us in my group all had salads and we were very surprised by how large they were (could not even begin to finish them, took leftovers away) and how well prepared they were. There were house made dressings that were very,... More

There are definitely better and cheaper burgers around BUT there's something about the nostalgic atmosphere here that makes it fun every now and then. Extensive burger menu ranging from classic to wacky! The build your own burger bar is great and allows you to choose your toppings and sauces eliminating waste of standard items typically included with burgers that don't... More

When I first went to this restaurant, it was very exciting and a must see for tourists. That was about 30 years ago. There was a trapper who spent several hours a day there providing all the adult customerswith silver dollars and playing a harmonica and joking with them. When he left, the place became a lot more mundane. Now,... More

This delightful restaurant is worth the stop! You won't find better burgers - or a more creative menu offering - anywhere. The food is made there on the premises, including the sauces. We tried the battered mushrooms as an appetizer and were astonished when a heaping platter came out! Probably not the best for those on a diet, but for... More

I stopped by here this past weekend after seeing the reviews on TripAdvisor. I was not disappointed. Both the exterior and interior look like a saloon from the old west. The wait staff were very attentive, friendly, and allowed me to substitute my fries for a dellcious garden salad. The burgers here are huge, and they mean business! I ordered... More

Been hearing about this place for years but never too the time to stop when going by. Highway was closed so stopped to try it. Best burger and fries that I have had in a while. Service was friendly and fast (but we were early in the evening). Ordered a chocolate shake to go on the way out, and it... More
