The food is pretty good, a little steep on the price. But overall the food is pretty good and most of the time just like home. Plus Joe and the gang in the bar are quick and make some good drinks.

The Tollgate Inn is a step back in time; a casual environment with lots of retro décor, including candies I didn't think they made any more. The menu offers plenty of variety including lots of old-fashioned, basic fare like turkey and dressing, BLTs, liver and onions, burgers, etc. And the portions are huge. We all enjoyed our meals and we'll... More

I have eaten here many times and had many great meals. I would reccomend eating lunch, or dinner here but not breakfast. The club sandwich and cheese burger are two of my favorites. They also have great chicken fried steak and some good specials. The staff is friendly and the portions are huge. I usually head to their bakery next... More

Or for a sweet in the bakery. We tried two sandwiches; a grilled chicken breast with a cup of soup and a tuna melt with a house mini salad. The salad was the best a fresh selection of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber with delicious dressing on the side, then the soup was amazingly flavorful, cream of chipotle chicken. The sandwiches... We had a great breakfast with huge portions. We sat in the bar area which was nice and quiet. Our server was very friendly and we got our food very quickly. The food is very good all came the way it was ordered.

We always enjoy stopping at the Tollgate Inn on the way up to Mt. Hood, Oregon. For a 9am on a Friday, it was very busy. That's good because you like to see local businesses in Sandy doing good. This time I had the french toast and my girlfriend had the eggs benedict. We always share so we can try... More

We stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday. We waited quite a while for a seat but found to our surprise that half of the tables were empty inside. The decor inside consists of lots of old-fashioned memorabilia. It helped to pass the time waiting for our food. Just as we were about to ask if something had happened to... More

We had breakfast at this interesting historical inn. My wife always orders soft scrambled eggs, extra crisp bacon with a whole sliced tomato and it came out perfect. I ordered the homemade hash with eggs and the hash was a real disappointment. Burned bad on one side and pretty tasteless. Meals at other tables looked tasty. Service was good. It... More
