I would give the Tollgate better marks if they would serve vegetables hot rather then less than pee warm (cool). Vegetables would be very good if they were hot. I have been complaining a long time and have had many offers to return them to the kitchen but that isn't going to happen. Bottom line...nothing has changed.

Came to eat here on St. Patrick's day.. The waitress was really friendly and helpful. She recommended the Yankee pot roast. It was just what I needed and I had lots of good leftovers to bring home. Fast service, kind of an old school feel to the place. Great food and friendly service.

We heard of this place by word of mouth and we are glad we went. We drive into Sandy Oregon and find a rustic looking town. We nearly drove by it until we saw their sign and pulled in. The smell of baking bread overwhelmed our senses and the look around the insides showed a tall pastry display with delicious... More

Came in during Sunday lunch. Not crowded, no line. Server was nice. Lot on the menu to choose from. Prices were reasonable. For 5 people bill was $55, i was happy with that. Service wasnt fast, but reasonable, but we did have 5 people. Food was good, no one had any issues. Nice atmosphere, pretty fire place. Saloon decor was... More

Nice staff. Slow service. Average food. Money is tight and this is not the place to spend it. Usually try twice. Won't be back.

This is a nice country family restaurant that is perfect for dinner on the way home from skiing Mt Hood, or for breakfast on the way. Good value, fun country store atmosphere, good solid food. Recommended.

We tried this restaurant and was dissatisfied with it. They put us in the back in a corner booth. The server came and taken our order then didn't see her again until food was served. Food was greasy and never saw the server again until she brought our bill. So we only seen her twice the whole time we was... More

The Toll Gate is just plain fun. The atmosphere changes with the seasons and holidays, and the food stays excellent. The value for your dollar is exceptional.

American comfort food, just like mom made. That means it can be spotty I believe that most entrees are at least edible, but some just don't meet muster..
