Or for a sweet in the bakery. We tried two sandwiches; a grilled chicken breast with a cup of soup and a tuna melt with a house mini salad. The salad was the best a fresh selection of lettuce, tomato, and cucumber with delicious dressing on the side, then the soup was amazingly flavorful, cream of chipotle chicken. The sandwiches... We had a great breakfast with huge portions. We sat in the bar area which was nice and quiet. Our server was very friendly and we got our food very quickly. The food is very good all came the way it was ordered.

We always enjoy stopping at the Tollgate Inn on the way up to Mt. Hood, Oregon. For a 9am on a Friday, it was very busy. That's good because you like to see local businesses in Sandy doing good. This time I had the french toast and my girlfriend had the eggs benedict. We always share so we can try... More

We stopped here for breakfast on a Sunday. We waited quite a while for a seat but found to our surprise that half of the tables were empty inside. The decor inside consists of lots of old-fashioned memorabilia. It helped to pass the time waiting for our food. Just as we were about to ask if something had happened to... More

We had breakfast at this interesting historical inn. My wife always orders soft scrambled eggs, extra crisp bacon with a whole sliced tomato and it came out perfect. I ordered the homemade hash with eggs and the hash was a real disappointment. Burned bad on one side and pretty tasteless. Meals at other tables looked tasty. Service was good. It... More

My wife and I stop in there once in awhile when headed to Central Oregon and we feel the food is very good. We stopped in there on a Friday and had their seafood chowder and I have to admit, it was hands down the best. They also have one of the best taco salads around also. If you are... More

if you are real hungry for food like Mom always made, and you are driving through Sandy Oregon you have to stop at the Tollgate Inn. This was always a favorite stop on our way to go skiing on Mt hood, and you could skip lunch cause this food will stick with you for awhile... Anything on the menu will... More

Great location in Sandy and enticing exterior. Bakery, Bar, Restaurant "complex". Meal was quite poor, dried out meat and flavorless roll. Ate less than half. Soup was worse, 4 tastes and I was done. My friend's Cobb salad looked good on the surface, but nothing tasty under the immediate surface. We visited between eating, drank our entire allotment of water... More
