We ❤️❤️❤️ Wild Pear! The food is unique and sooo yummy! I love the ceilings in the restaurant. The room is small and ALWAYS busy. During nice weather they do have a few tables outside. I'd definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

The food is always good here but my favorite is the squash soup this time of year. It is delicious. Sitting near the door is always cold in the winter, but the food makes up for it.

I can't believe I lived here in Salem 10 years and just this year finally went here three times in a month. I'd been to events that were catered by them and the food has always been fresh tasting and made with high quality ingredients. It's a changing menu using seasonal, local ingredients. The seating is open and close. Not... More

At first glance, the menu seems a little unimpressive - mostly soups, salads and a few common entrees. Glance again, because the food is flavorful and well-priced. Save room for dessert! There are fun shops to wander in and out of after you eat (and had twice as much dessert as you planned to eat). The place can be a... More

The food is good, the prices are moderate but the service can be a bit slow. If you go on a weekday during the lunch rush expect a bit of a wait.

Stopped by on a chilly day of downtown shopping with a friend. Have a great bowl of soup and 1/2 sandwich. It was Saturday at lunch and the place was packed. I had a potatoe leek soup friend had butternut coconut milk type soup. Both great. Hit the spot on a dreary day.

Everything from the made fresh daily soups to the mouth-watering quiche and unique salads are prepared with the freshest ingredients. It’s always a pleasure to run my eyes over the menu to seek out the next flavorful adventure. The staff help make dining there a wonderful experience. The same amount of love & expertise they use to prepare in-house fare... More

My husband and I had a small, at home wedding. We also had a small budget, and so were worried that our catering would be nothing special. We were amazed when Wild Pear--everyone's local favorite--worked with our budget. Ashley, our coordinator, got back to us quickly, answered all our questions, and was patient through all our last minute changes. On... More
