After wine tasting our way through the Willamette Valley, my husband and I had a delicious dinner here. The food and the service were outstanding!

We asked some business people where to go for dinner in Salem and heard Da Vinci's was good, so we tried it. Now I wish that they were located in Portland. Our server was Richard who did a great job of recommending wine for the dishes we order. Doug ordered the Hanger steak with a chipotle marinade and I had... More

Literally days after getting back from living in Italy, my mom had her birthday dinner at Davinci's. I hadn't been there in years and was generally dreading going to an American-Italian restaurant. Part of my dread was correct - you just can't get the same level of food as in Italy, and some of the products actually have to be... More

Unfortunately, though still a very nice place to go out in Salem, I do not like the menu changes over the last few years. The camenzola bread is no longer on the menu, the pear salad (a local favorite has been gone for a while), there are not as many choices. It is good but used to be Great! Oxtails... More

The staff was so nice and the ambiance was great but that just couldn't compensate for the really medicore food. The menu stated the pasta was "housemade" but our waitress said that only really the ravioli was made in house ... so I ordered that. It was bland and the ravioli was barely filled .... mostly pasta. Not a local... More

Tuesday night. Piano player in the house. The place is full. I had high hopes. But the food was just bland. Ok the butter salad had a kick since it was served with spicy tomato sauce on it, but the crab risotto was blah. No flavor. Cold crab on top of saffron risotto. My companion had black spaghetti and said... More

Nice upscale atmosphere, the piano player was a nice touch. I sat at the bar and had a good glass of wine, the beet salad and the prosciutto pizza. The pizza could have easily been shared and both were delicious. It deserves it's rating.

We come from Lodi, CA & found Davinci's several years ago. Always try to make a reservation. Had the scallop/shrimp/lobster linguini; wife scallops dish. Always try for a table upstairs where we can throw paper airplanes down on the bar below. Piano is great top. Jessica was an engaging waitress. The wine? Big secret: Freakshow Cab; although from Napa on... More

We were heading down from Portland for a concert at the Elsinore Theatre and decided to pick a place for dinner before the concert. We booked our reservations online based on the Tripadvisor reviews ... WOW! When we arrived we were greeted as "old friends" and were immediately taken to our table. My husband and I shared a steak ...... More
