Reasonably fast service. A good place for conversation. Not fancy but has a diner feel. Am a frequent visitor.

I really was disappointed after hearing so many long time Salem residents crow about this place. The interior was dirty, tired and run down, glad I couldn't see inside the kitchen. Their famous stuffed french toast was dry, tired and run down like the place itself. Won't be back.

Great food, worth any wait, worth driving from I-5 over to restaurant. Great coffee, servers were always filling coffee or water glasses. Seven in our party and we all were pleased. Can't wait to go again!

The food was very good and they have a great menu. I especially liked the number of gluten free items and baked goods available!

Good prices, an easy near downtown location (just off 12th on State Street), and plenty of room. My group got a room toward the back. Service was good. I would recommend the 3 pancakes with Marion berry syrup.

We have enjoyed this restaurant for years. Good service and consistently good food always prepared the way we request. I'm not raving that this is the best ever, but it is consistently good all-around with ample portions and no unexpected issues. Great menu choices and we rarely wait for a table, although we are not prone to visit at peak... More

My doctors catered in a Sassy Onion lunch for our staff Christmas Party. It was salad and pasta and desserts. I expected, meh. I was so happily surprised!! We had 4 different choices of pastas,2 salads and 2 desserts. There were beef, chicken and cheese choices in the pastas. I got into the buffet line late in the service, yet... More

My boyfriend and I did take out I had the biscuits and gravy meal. There wasnt much gravy and for sausage gravy there were no pieces of sausage.
