We ordered 4 dishes for takeout, all of them tasted like they had syrup in them- including the ones that were supposed to be spicy. When called, they said that sugar is put in all the food unless you tell them not to. I have NEVER heard of such a thing! Terrible food, will never go back.

We ate dinner at Taj Mahal last night and it was delicious. It's true that the tablecloths are stained and should really be replaced ,but the food was fresh and seasoned well. The service was excellent. My husband thinks it is the best restaurant in Salem. It is one of my favorites. I will be back.

This place is wonderful. Lunch buffet includes your drink. Also can do a to-go box. Very fresh tasting. They had a rice pudding to die for. If you like Indian and Curry dishes you will love this place. I actually didn't go until about 1PM but it was really filled up with people.

The crispy garbanzo bean chips were interesting. Lot's of great ethnic choices. Everything was tasty.
