I grew up in Salem, did my undergrad in Eugene at the University of Oregon, and in general wrote off my hometown as a place with any chance of a decent nightlife. There is something about capitol cities I can't figure out. Thankfully, Venti's is one of those places that has breathed life into Salem's social scene. It's actually pretty... More

Stopped in here because of the taphouse, stayed for the food and trivia night! We had a blast trying to answer the trivia while trying different brews from the tap list. The food was quite good, both my cousin and I enjoyed our own and each others meal.

The fries are skinny and crisp. They get cold fast and kind soggy. The tartar sauce was very much like plain mayonnaise! It had little of the tartness I associate with tartar sauce. The fish and chips were good although the crust was a little mushy on the bottom of the pieces. I love Halibut, but wasn't totally sure this... More

I have mixed feelings about this place. It has a great menu and matches items to the beers on site. The wait staff is terrific - indoors and outside. The place is noisy and there isn't a spot where you can get away from that - inside it's noisy and outside you're on busy Commercial Street. The place is regularly... More

Went here for this first time on a snowy night after we found out pizza would not deliver because of the weather. Despite the weather the place was busy. The food was great and the servers were courteous and explained item on the menu. We will return again.

Quirky little downtown cafe with some great beer. Small place but the staff is very friendly and the food worth the wait. Order at the counter but delivered to your table.

I had assumed this was just another beer-lover's hang-out with sub-par bar food, but I was wrong! The extensive menu offers healthier options with a full array of salads, bowls, and other entrees besides what I expected to find. Flavors and ingredients are creative and really good, and service was so attentive and fast that a wait for a table... More

Love, Love, Love Ventis...something for everyone...kids, adults, beer lovers. Only issues sometimes (well actually MOST times) are PARKINg...so be prepared to park across the street in the strip mall parking lot and walking across the street. But it's soooo worth it. I'm a boring eater...when I find something I like, I stick to it...and the Teriyaki chicken Hawaiin bowl (add... More

You wouldn't expect this in Salem, but it's here and it is great. You wouldn't expect the service to be outstanding, but it is. You would expect the quality of food to be so fresh, but it is. In short, you should start expecting Venti's - everywhere you go. I know I will.
