Go for breakfast. You'll get way too much food, but it is so delicious, and so worth the wait you'll surely have. Go on a weekday, early.

My last meal, if I had to choose, would by my mothers biscuits and gravy. I've never found biscuits that even come close ...until now! The restaurant is in a renovated home (small, private, nostalgic eating quarters) with parking available around the block. We waited around 45 minutes on a rainy day in the lobby while salivating over food we... More

Believe the hype! First off, seating is limited...your probably going to have to wait. The restaurant and staff have great character. I ordered a Bloody Mary and filet mignon chicken fried steak. Both were great, and plenty of it :-) Everything was fresh and made from scratch. If your in the area, make sure you stop.

No, really it is one of the best breakfast estuarine in the country. We NEVER wait an hour and a half for anything, except here. The food is awesome and the drinks are perfect. Ask for some coffee while your wait, or order a bloody mary. A must go if you are in Salem

Great menu. French toast is heaven. But everything was good and plentiful. the place is kind of chopped up and a little crowded since they've converted a house.

1st time in Salem and saw the great reviews. Always a fan of the local favorite. True, the wait was an hour, however the food was worth it. It is fattening, buyer beware, this is not a health lovers place. They serves total comfort foid, excellent sausage gravy and biscuits. The home made corned beef hash is excellent. We loved... More

We shared the Creme Brulee French Toast and enjoyed every morsel! When we told our waiter that this was our first visit, we were treated to a complimentary cinnamon swirl pancake for our table of 4. We had heard about this from Trip Advisor reviews. The pancake was sweet and gooey - excellent! What a great place for breakfast or... More
