Italian food is good and prime rib is great. Bar is very well stocked and they make a nice variety of drinks.

I lived in the community for several years and ate at the Dockside frequently. The reasons I did are varied but the most important three are: (1) Quality... The Italian food, the steaks and the wine are excellent ! (2) Service... Fast, courteous and dependable... (3) Personalities... The people who work here are personable, caring and fun !

I visited this restaurant a number of years ago when I was in St. Helens for business. I liked it well enough then, and the atmosphere and menu have actually gotten much better. We stopped for lunch on the way to Astoria because I wanted to show my wife the restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised. Nice pasta dishes and salads... More

Took my wife to dinner at the Dockside for our 30th anniversary on a Tuesday evening. Although crowded, we were seated immediately and our drink order taken. The Dockside isn't really a romantic restaurant, consisting mostly of booths for four and a few free standing tables. We ordered the calamari appetizer which turned out to be the best decision we... Stopped here for lunch on a quiet Sunday afternoon and was pleasantly surprised. I had the lasagna soup as a starter. I had never heard of such a thing, so the waiter served us a sample before we made up our mind. I was sold immediately. As an entre I had the Hazelnut Prawns (which was actually not on the... More

I really enjoyed my visit to this little restaurant. It had a great atmosphere and everyone was so friendly! That's really important for me when traveling with two little ones. The food was awesome and there was a lot of selection and I'm a picky eater. It was especially enjoyable for me as a Twilight fan because it is so... More

Noodles is the nickname of my brother who is, apparently, somewhat famous, or, infamous in this particular establishment. I was visiting St. Helens and the aforementioned family member in June 2013. He recommended the Dockside. And, for once in the 60+ years I have known him he didn't steer me wrong. From the local craft beers to the fresh ingredients... More

Was staying here for a couple of days and ate here. I had read the reviews and while they were mixed I thought it was worth trying. Glad I did. I had no reservation on a Friday night and got seated in under 10 minutes. Place was pretty full. Manager/owner checked on me several times. The food was great. Would... More

Celebrating here was easy. We had a great waiter who served us quickly and checked with us often. The appetizers were awesome....an Italian flavor of choices. The meatballs were great. Drinks were mixed well. The manager or owner was very active in making sure everyone was enjoying themselves.
