Great Mexican Dinner

It had been raining and we had to buy a new tire after a flat in Grants Pass. We were headed for Eugene when we decided we had to get some dinner. We stopped at Vaquero Burrito and sat right next to the lady making handmade tortillas. Chips and salsa came right away, fajita salad tasted great and... read more

The only thing that was decent about this experience was the fresh tortillas..Nothing else is fresh. All 3 salsas they brought out (2 were in ketchup bottles and tasted like plastic) were NOT good! Most of the reviews that are written are by people from Roseburg...they seem to be into quantity not quality. The plates for some of the entrees... More

We visited on thanksgiving day, were immediately seated, wait personnel were friendly and attentive. The food was a letdown, having lived in the los Angeles and Bay areas of California, the quality of the food would be substandard. The fact that the clientele did not include Hispanics should have been a tipoff.

Travelling thru Oregon recently and stopped for supper at this quaint Mexican restaurant. Small in size but big in menu, service and hospitality. Appears to be family owned and operated with gracious cordial staff eager to please. The food was outstanding and their home made sauces most memorable even days later. I congratulate this family on their fine efforts. Don't... More

Huge portions. If you are not a big eater, one ''take-out'' dish for two is enough. Good mexican food! Vegetarian options. Friendly staff even if you arrive just a few minutes before closing.

We read trip advisor positive reviews and decided to give this place a try while we were in town for a dog show. A very friendly gentleman met us at the door. The staff were equally warm and friendly. The menu was large but not too complicated. Many excellent choices. We both loved our meals. My husband helped finish mine... More

My husband and I dined here on a very rainy night last week, and close to closing. Despite the late hour, we were welcomed warmly and served immediately with chips and salsa. After our delicious margaritas, we enjoyed a chile verde burrito and the chicken mole poblano. The chile verde was the best my husband's ever had (and he's had... More

really loved the food. service was prompt and attentive. good chips and salsa. fairly authentic-- so if you like your taco shells fried and everything oozing with cheese and sour cream, then this might not be your favorite. we enjoyed tacos (carne asada as well as the spicier beef mix), arroz con pollo, and enchiladas. tacos come taco truck style... Traveling through from Eugene to Medford and stumbled across this great place. Great authentic food, good lunch prices. Great service and very friendly. I will make a point to stop here again. Small dining area but very comfortable.

This definitely the best Mexican food in Roseburg. Every dish I've tried here is very tasty and their service is great too. Service is fast and servers are very attentive, fun and happy. Fresh, homemade corn tortillas while you dine. Always leave here with a smile.
