We stopped last Sunday and decided to eat here on our way up hwy 101 and I'll just say this, keep going because the waitress was horrible with her customer service skills and more concerned about tending to the people going into the bar section of the restaurant, after we had been sitting here for 10 minutes and waiting to... This is one of the restaurants on the northern end of Rockaway, so if you come down from the north, we suggest you keep going until you are well into town. The restaurant is clean and has a nice view of the lake, but the service is slow and there's not much to entertain you in the menu either. Don't... More

When I go to a unfamiliar place I usually look for something on the menu that cant be messed up. I was wrong. I ordered a bacon cheese burger, pretty simple dont ya think? Well the meat was really salty, season salt fall on the burger salty. The texture of the meat was like it was freezer burned. The server... More

Clam Chowder is Amazing!!! The meals could have bigger portions for the price but the food is good and the owners are very nice! We will return.

We stopped in for clam chowder. It was excellent. I wouldn't say it was the best I've ever had but it was right up there. It had a lot of stuff in it, celery, onion, potato, bacon and clams. Very good and very filling. Nice atmosphere, with view of the lake.

I ordered the "all you can eat" fish and chips knowing it was cod, not halibut. Service was very slow and th fish was disappointing. The breading was somewhat dry and the fries were typical "frozen" fries. I didn't order any additional helping of the fish. The sausage soup my wife ordered was, according to her, quite good and she... More

Read the other reviews before stopping and we are so glad we did! It really is the best chowder around...now to figure out where to put the rest of the food we ordered.

We had reservations for a group of about 20 - 25 with a preset menu that had limited choices. This was so enough food could be prepared ahead of time that we could all be served at about the same time. The tenderloin was a bit over cooked/dry but once it was covered with gravy it was OK. It was... More
