This was our third visit in 2 years to the Redmond Black Bear Diner. Parking is difficult at this restaurant. We were in town (all three visits) for the Oregon Wrestling Classic, a large, statewide event. Each time, we had to wait and wait to be seated despite a mostly empty restaurant, middle of the afternoon. The first two visits,... More

We went to the black bear diner for a Sunday meal, and we were very pleased. The staff was very knowledgeable and great. The food was top notch. We took a large group of twelve, we only waited about 15 minutes and were served quickly. The food was tremendous and was brought in large portions. What a treat

Our few experiences at the Black Bear Diner in Redmond were forgettable at best in my opinion. The service was disappointing and the food was for the most part adequate. I believe the main issue for this establishment is management rather than employees. I wish I could say more positive things, but the experience was negative to the degree we... More

this restaurant has started offering flatbread sandwiches and they are really great; my favorite is the veggie; also the Gobbler is another one of my favorites. My husband really likes the chili burger with all the works on top(onions and cheese). All their menu selections are very good and the kids really enjoy coming to eat here.

I went with a group for breakfast the other day. The food was decent, but the service was mediocre. The server messed up one order and didn't stop by our table occasionally to see if anyone needed a coffee/water refill. We had to flag him down several times. I've been there a few times in the past, but this trip... More

Worst ever! In fact, we didn't even eat there. I use a power wheelchair, and was traveling with my elderly mother and adult daughter. We were first seated at a table (at the Redmond, OR diner), but my mother's back was hurting so we asked if we could move to a booth. A waitress named Tammy told us we could... More

Have eaten at a couple of the different Black Bear Diners and would have to suggest breakfast over other meals. The value is best. The food is good, the atmosphere is fun and the service was great. After eating there a few times, I can say the food is good but just not convinced the value is there.

Fantastic place to eat in Redmond. We had breakfast, lunch and dinners there during our stay in town. What to say; clean, cheerful, good old time rock and roll music for background (Not too loud)great food, plenty of it, really good coffee, the employees were outstanding, especially Crystal, who we had a chance to talk with after her shift. We'd... More

I love this place. The food is delicious "home cooked" fare and the portions are more than enough. The atmosphere is a treat. Well worth a visit. Take advantage of the monthly specials for a great deal!

First time in the Redmond restaurant, but we have been in several others and it is one of our favorite breakfast places. Great food, huge portions, friendly service. All around a great place.
