Exactly what I expected.

Straight forward honest breakfast options. Not high end eats, but my son cleared his plate. The place is filled with locals which says something.

What a great place. Fantastic breakfast, set us up for the day. Great, friendly service. Open only for breakfast and lunch, I had the feeling it is a real "locals" place, but also welcoming to strangers like us as well.

Popular with locals, this is a pleasant little restaurant with friendly waitstaff. The food is very average, but is typical of the area.

Nice local place with great food and good portions. The pancakes are worth getting as well as the omelets. We had a variety of things and we liked it all. Biggest thing is don't be in hurry. It takes a while to get your food but it's worth the wait. I don't think anything is pre-made or packaged. We've been traveling... More

only open for breakfast, first couple of times it was very good, last time not so much, omellett was very flat, very little inside, they do serve home made hash browns, this is always busy, so maybe that was just a bad day.

Nothing special about facility, good breakfast, standard options. There were 7 of us and they served us promptly.

A stop in Prineville is never complete without breakfast at Dad's Place. Always a crew of locals presiding over recent and historical happenings and conveying the tight friendship and easy going life of rural America. The food is good (biscuits & gravy, or the garbage omelete are tops) and serving sizes are massive. We can barely finish a single order... More

Small town atmosphere. Great food. But come hungry the portions are more than adequate. Sourdough pancakes are fantastic.

On a recent trip to Prineville with a friend, we were advised by my friend's daughter, who has lived there many years, to have breakfast at Dad's. What I remember about Dad's was the long list of increasingly complex omelets on the menu, the last of which was called "Garbage". This being farm/ranch country, they tell it like it is.... More

We are bicycling cross country through small town USA. Our meals have ranged from the excellent to the not so much. The food here is delicious and fresh and the staff, including the owners are a delight. In addition the prices are fair. Especially noteworthy are the desserts. We shared a piece of blackberry cream pie. I've never heard of... More
