Brix is the kind of restaurant that goes out of their way to make your dining experience pleasant and memorable. The food selections are numerous. The food is great. Two of our diners had fish dishes (one salmon, one halibut). Both were delicious. The menu has an elaborate listing of happy hour specials that occur on weekdays and weekends. Reservations... More

Husband had the hh beer, the waiter, Chris, was honest enough to tell me to pass on the hh red wine and try something else. The food was ridiculously great! Had the chicken tacos, pork sliders (omg!), the chips with some cheesey melt that was off the charts! Then my husband had to have more...he ordered the pizza fold over... More

Very friendly and helpful waitstaff. Good food, reasonable prices, nice appetizers, good drinks. Friendly atmosphere and nice location. Eaten here three times and enjoy the experience.

Hey, this place has great breakfast at an affordable price. No long lines, but that won't last once people realize how good this place is. Here are a few of the highlights; - Full bar, bottomless Mimosas on the weekend. - Large portions of good quality food, I get the Brix Skillet. - Big screen tv's with no volume, so... More

Our service and food was pretty good! We went mid-day on a Saturday - not too busy! we will go again.

Six of us went to Brix for our first visit - Sunday brunch. We would not go again! It took us an hour to get our food. When we did get our meals, the dishes were lukewarm, although everyone said their meals tasted good. Our waitress didn't handle the basics of keeping the coffee cups filled, the teapot full of hot water or... More

I eat at a lot of places in Portland and always ready to try new ones. I took a group of 4 girlfriends for a night out ... Very disappointed and would not recommend this place. The food was so so - and the service was even below a 'so so'.

Recent dinner at Brix revealed bar/comfort food in a cavernous setting (maybe a converted loft?). Mediocre food and service. The server didn't know much about the wine and although the place was a quarter full at most, service was quite slow. Plain Jane chicken and strangely textured burgers.

I recently dined at Brix with a friend for restaurant month. The regular menu has a lot of offerings, although not many vegetarian selections (I am not a vegetarian, but am on the look out for y'all). The food is advertised as comfort food - meaning heavy, creamy or fried dishes. While service was good and my meal was ok,... More

Although the ostensible draws are the large TV screens, liberal happy hour menus, and variety of specialty drinks (none of which is generally on our radar), Brix has quickly become a favorite for a casual meal when we're downtown. We often simply make a meal of the appetizer variety, many of which are not the typical mixture of fried carbs... More
