Delicious

Visited for lunch today and the food was wonderful. We tried the brisket, pulled pork, ribs, and chicken. All were cooked and seasoned to perfection. The only thing I didn't care for was the all meat chili. It tasted more like a birria (traditional Mexican meal) then chili. Service was fast and... read more

Visiting from the mid-Atlantic, I didn't think Portland had good Q possibilities. This restaurant, tucked into a neighborhood with lines out the door, proved me wrong. Past the big crowds, I hit the bar and got fast ribs, brisket and a huge side of Mac N Cheese. All dynamite: the ribs smoky and good chew, the brisket buttery, and Mac... More

Finally made it to Podnah's and was not disappointed. The service was very good and everyone was very friendly and helpful. We had the Pit Boss which was a good variety of smoked meats and two sides (enough for two). All of the meat was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. The only negative is if you like your smoked meat... More

Wow. I was visiting a friend in this past weekend and she insisted on going for BBQ at Podnah's. I thought that was a little strange, but who knew there was great BBQ in Portland! We had to wait for about 30 minutes. The location is great though, there is a little tequila/taco place next door for drinks, or the... More

This was a great BBQ dinner...the brisket was smoky and moist, the ribs succulent and falling off the bone and the pulled pork was oh so good. When in Portland, Oregon, do find your way to this restaurant. If you are a BBQ fan you will like this place...I also recommend the Mac and Cheese...velvety goodness with the right blend... More

Ate here on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant does have brunch that lasts until 1, but we got there shortly after 1, so opted for lunch. Members of our party ordered: 1/2 chicken, pulled pork sandwich, pulled pork platter, brisket platter, and the Pit Boss (some of everything). Everyone agreed that the food was spectacular. They make every item in... More

If you want to taste the many different ways can you cook pork order the Pit Boss. It was enough for my husband and I to share and we both left completely stuffed after joining the clean plate club. The pulled pork was moist and smoky and the sausage was my favorite with an almost tangy taste and sweet juiciness... More

Saturday night Prime Rib Special was killer! Mac n' cheese is great, greens done very well. Smoke taste was a bit heavy for me, but all and all a fine meal.

Best BBQ in Portland. Hands down. I eat quite a bit of BBQ, and the smokey flavor and succulence of their meat can't be beat! I crave Podnah's right now as a matter of fact!

The restaurant was a little outside of dowtown Portland so bring your GPS but it was so worth it! I had the fried chicken which was the special for the night and my husband had the "Pit Boss" which was a little bit of everything! The service was great and we will definitely go back!
