Best BBQ in Portland

Awesome food, awesome service, awesome atmosphere. Very good quality food prepared to delight the taste buds. The wedge salad with bleu cheese and high quality nitrate-free bacon is to die for. Welcoming service, open and conversational atmosphere. There was no rush, extremely friendly and helpful service. The drink menu is tops, quirky fun but tops and delicious. 4 of us guys went out and all ordered a different meat entree. The brisket, ribs, chicken, and lamb was on special. The lamb I had a crisp sweet char on it with the... More

I've been to Podnah's a handful of times over the last year and it's fantastic. Yes, the place can get crowded but there's a reason. The food is really great! I like the pulled pork but even the side dishes are awesome. Recently tried the green chili mac and cheese as a side dish and it was good enough to... More

All I can say is this is by far, hands down the best BBQ I have had in 20 years since I moved from Texas! The cornbread is amazing, Brisket is OFF THE HOOK and the BBQ beans....WOW! I can't wait to come back and try more off this amazing, simple menu! Well done!

I tried to eat here in late December, and found it was a meet market not a meat market. The noise was so bad you couldn't possibly carry on a conversation if your life depended on it. I looked at the menu, but found it uninspiring. So, I walked out. By the way, you have to be into tattoos and... More

This is a BBQ restaurant in Portland. As we all know, Portland is known for it’s eclectic culinary offerings. While not as, shall we say, "unusual" as many other Portland restaurants, however this is not what you’d find in most cities under the heading of a sit down BBQ restaurant. The menu contains platters and sandwiches with a variety of... More

The minute you step through the door, the fabulous smell of BBQ wakes up your senses. It was a packed house on a Saturday evening, so we went to the bar and received fast friendly drink service. We initially thought the wait would be quite long, but we waited less than 10 minutes for a table. The wait staff was... More

Best BBQ yet. I don't mean to compare styles of BBQ but if I was forced to I'd go Podnahs. The brisket, the pork ribs, the beef ribs the corn bead, the drinks, the beer, the dirty rice with lamb heart, oh yea it's all good. I'm not kidding neither. Good for families, friend, business or yourself just go here... More

Delicious. First visit in and I ordered "The Pitboss." Four types of meat served with corn bread and two sides. Enough for one person with left overs to take home. This just may have been the best tasting of BBQ I've ever had. Also, they have a great selection of beer.
