We visited on a Saturday afternoon. There were a few people dining but not crowded. The service was attentive but not smothering. The menu has a variety of items which were served quickly and at the proper temperatures. The portions are adequate. There is a drugstore type dessert / ice cream bar but we did not partake. I had the... More

Pancakes, SO huge and fluffy that they fill the entire plate (its oversized) as well as the best steak and eggs and eggs benny, not to mention the terrific service and seasonal outdoor seating in a relaxed neighbourhood setting.

Nothing bad to say. The staff is very welcoming and kind. The food was full of flavor and had "homestyle" feel to it. I highly recommend the fish and chips because I love halibut. The meatloaf was pretty good as well as the mashed potatoes. If we go back another time, I want to try the mac n cheese.

Found this courtesy of "Breakfast in Bridgetown". We were looking for a place without a line on a Sunday late morning. We got there around 10am and there was no wait. Service was a bit slow, but a few nice surprises: mini scones with honey, soy milk for the coffee, and a bloody mary bar. They had veggie sausage too!... More

We love this place. We've probably been here close to 40 times, mostly for breakfast, and have always had a great experience. The food has always been very good, generous portions for reasonable prices. The service is pretty good, not stuffy and no attitude. We usually take all of our guests here at least once.I suspect this will continue to... More

We've enjoyed weekend breakfast at this local, 3rd generation restaurant a number of times over the last few years. It has always been great with friendly service and easy going atmosphere. Today mom & dad (in their 70's and very picky eaters) both had Nick's Favorite Scramble and both really liked it. Teenage daughter had the French Toast and ate... More
