I have been a Stumptown regular for 9 of their 10 years (even driving on ice from Vancouver WA to satiate my addiction) but lately find myself at Peets more often due to lack of consistency at Stumptown. It seems like more of the dedicated long-time staff is gone (which seems weird considering...) and the more recent folks don't try... more

Don't bother getting coffee anywhere else in Portland but Stumptown. This was, hands down, the best coffee I had ever had. There are various locations throughout the city. Seriously, the coffee is amazing. My husband and I liked it so much that we bought a bag to take home with us! more

The coffee is brewed in a very interesting manner. The servers are passionate and invite questions. The interior invites lingering and enjoying the brew. My latte was perfect and my husband's coffee was so fresh it wanted to jump out of the cup. The pastries are so-so. more
