Great food and atmosphere.

Don't let the long line and having to bus your own table deter you, this may be the best Mexican food north of the rio grande. They have fresh made guacamole and chips that are the best chips I have ever had. Fresh hibiscus tea and a variety of vegetarian and meat options to choose from.

Crazy-good tacos and amazing homemade beans. And the spiked apple apricot cider brightened up a cold day. The ambience is lovely; brightly colored and filled with mementos. Even the little section on the side was cozy and quaint. There'll be line, but it's worth the wait. Otherwise, wander around shops on Mississippi Ave and head here during off-peak time.

I stopped in this place after reading about it several places. I got a half order or salsa and guac, then a brisket taco and a carnitas taco. The portions were just the right size and probably the best tacos I've ever had. Keep it up!!

This is the go to taqueria in Portland in my opinion. Never had a back taco or soup or anything else. The line can be intimidating at times, but early or late lunch/dinner will generally thin out the line. Try the specials - creative and generally surprising flavor and experience. Give it a try and you will be hooked.

Agua frescas are wonderful and I can't wait to come back and do the margarita frescas! All the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. It is very popular and seating is limited but totally worth it.

If you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere to eat in Portland Por Que No is a great little find. Get there early because it is not big but the portions are large and fantastic. I had the Bryan's Bowl with chips and couldn't finish it. The atmosphere is fun, hole-in-the-wall Mexican (in a good way) in fact I felt... More

Great food and price. Cool atmosphere. We had Bryan's bowl. Amazing! Quick service. And they make their own juices daily! Will be back. Highly recommend.

While visiting Portland, our son took us here for lunch. This place is nothing short of fantastic. There was a line (good sign actually). You order your food before you find a place to sit and the pace of the line almost guarantees you will have a place. There are great specials with a seasonal flair. They had excellent Butternut... Even though we visited with 10 people, in town for a wedding, we enjoyed the experience. We stayed around the corner in a house we rented on Airbnb and walked to this restaurant. My 79 year old father walked there by himself and was found enjoying the sights and sounds at a picnic table with food and drink by himself.... More

We went here last May 2013 on my first visit to America. Our friend Mako introduced us to this place. Food was great and chips were overflowing! Sangria was awesome and for only $6 which is cheap! (coming from Singapore that is very cheap!) It is totally worth the wait! I am not sure if they take reservations cause we... More
