Overall, Screen Door was excellent! I'm from Indiana, so homestyle cooking isn't anything new to me. I definitely had high expectations. I had the pimiento cheese as an appetizer, and my boyfriend thought that it was the best part of the meal! We shared the fried chicken, mashed potatoes, and collard greens, which were also amazing. I wouldn't say Screen... More

We had tried to get into Screen Door before, drove by saw the queue/line and decided it was not worth it.... today by chance we were passing at 5.15pm there was a queue of about 50, so we decided to give it go. We were lucky we got the last table inside and were seated at 5.45pm. We skipped lunch,... More

You will love this place if you love good southern food. We had the fried chicken which was incredible. They served it will mashed potatoes and gravy along with collard greens. The chicken pieces area vert large and can easily be shared by two. They were happy to substitute the Hillary greens which I did. My husband had grits which... More

The food is fantastic. The outside patio is nice and the service is really great. Be aware, there will be a wait. Try to come at opening. The chicken was enjoyed by all at our table. The biscuit with honey was really awesome. Heard good reviews of the French toast from a nearby table as well. A worthy breakfast spot... More

The amazing spread of appetizers like the hushpuppies and fried green tomatoes is probably the best reason to come here. The portion sizes of the mains are too large, so considering sharing a main and a few apps instead!

I am a big fan of Jambalaya and this being a cajun restaurant, I was all about getting some. I went on a Sunday night around 7pm and the lines were crazy. People were outside on two sides of the building waiting, as well as on a long bench inside. Fortunately, I was ordering take out, so it only took... More

If you're looking for authentic southern food ("comfort" food) in the North West, this place can hardly be beat. We started with hush puppies which were excellent. For our main courses we had, in order of deliciousness, fried chicken, macaroni, mashed potatoes, cornbread, and collard greens. I'd go back for the first 3 items for sure. Skip the collard greens.... More

Great service and great food! Came here with a group of 6 for brunch! Chicken and waffles is a must try! 3 big juicy chicken fillets comes with your waffle. Waiter knew to give you an extra side plate to put your chicken on while you ate the first piece! I have hear their fried chicken during dinner service is... More

I have been going to the screen door for a number of years. Was so happy, my husband and I with the food these last two years. But now the food is terrible, collard greens are dirty the juice there sitting in looks dirty. Catfish taste like it was battered in dirt, macaroni is dry and pastey. The food has... More
