I think the pizza here is just okay. I do love the atmosphere and the pizza baking right in eye's sight but out pizzas didnt really come out perfect. The crust was cooked perfectly but the inside of the pizza was soft, mushy, kinda gross. For some reason it didn't really cook to the center. I think we might go... More

I seriously just go here for the macaroons. I've had a lot of macaroons in my day, and these are always my favorite. They're packed with flavor, and fresh fruit. Grab as many as you can! But eat them fresh. Mmmmmmm.... I'm already dreaming of my next visit. Thanks guys! For more tips of cool stuff to do in PDX,... More

I have generally been disappointed with pizza in other areas of the country that are not in the New York - New England region. This pizza was excellent in the thin crust category. Very fresh ingredients, a nice thin crust that didn't get soggy and very good combinations of toppings. The wood grilled vegetable appetizer was outstanding. Expect to wait... More

In an old paint store, with a wood fired oven to cook the pizzas - great topping combos, great wine list, and beer on tap ( no full bar). Well worth the wait if there is one. ( sometimes quite busy)

This is the best pizza--overall--that I've ever eaten. You can judge so many aspects about a good pizza pie and I can't say that out of 100 possible nuances Ken's wins in every category, but overall the balance is the best I've had. This is not thick, greasy pizza covered in 1/4" of delivery-truck bagged cheese. The toppings are sparse... More

We were at the restaurant with our baby tonight. The restaurant had a wonderful atmosphere: lively but not loud enough to make us feel uncomfortable. The staff were friendly and efficient - they accommodate us and our baby well and made us feel very welcomed. Everyone seemed to know one another and people were hugging and shaking hands all over... The experience of walking down a narrow brick alley and into an old family run pizzeria where no one speaks English, is something this restaurant will never be able to deliver... But when it comes to taste, the pizza at Ken's is very similar to the best pizza we had in Italy.

The pizza was thin crust, sparse on toppings and pretty greasy but it tasted good, very good quality toppings and nice service and atmosphere. Price was a little high though.

We've made two previous attempts to go to Ken's Artisan Pizza, and finally found it open and ready for us! We had their excellent vegetable plate as an appetizer before splitting two pizzas between 3 of us, followed up by some of the best coffee gelato.

This is a very good pizza. Thin crust like I like it, great flavour - plenty of garlic, nice rich sauce. But it's not like I remember New Haven’s Pepe’s from the 1960’s that they claim to like. Sorry, but missed that boat. Pepe's crust is thinner, pie served hotter, cheese is stringier, flavor stronger. Of course I'm recalling Pepe's... More
