This place made it onto the country's best pizza list, so we couldn't wait to try it. Crowded, young wait staff and cooks playing snap the towel with each other. Pizzas were mediocre at best. Bland sauce. Not much cheese (we had a margherita and a New Yorker)...We were very disappointed. Couldn't have a glass of wine with our meal,... More

My quest for the perfect pizza has taken me all over the world and found some extremely good examples. Ken's Artisan Pizza has now enlarged my gold standard group to three. It was about as perfect as pizza can be. Service was excellent, the pizza makers were real showmen with their tossing. It gets a 9.9/10 which actually is as... More

The greeting at the door was friendly and the atmosphere just feels good. Lightly smoky from the wood and a good sound. Still able to talk quietly without to too much restaurant clatter. We had a group of 8 outside on the shady side. We went at 5. I noticed when we left at 7 there was people waiting for... More

You can people watch and find street parking. Pizza was out of control good but too bad we were too full for the tempting desserts.

Nice fresh ingredients and it's great to be able to see the food being prepared. Service was swift (necessary to get people through the door) so not somewhere you could sit and linger after your meal. I don't really get the hype or understand why anyone would bother to queue for pizza when there is such a huge selection of... More

There isn't really any place to wait here...and there is always a wait! If it's raining, take your umbrella. The pizza was very good. The meat was spicy and a real surprise. It was a very cozy atmosphere and while it was crowded it was quite pleasant.

I was so looking forward to eating here after hearing about what great pizza they had. Four of us bought 3 pizzas and all of them had an unpleasant aftertaste. The sauce they use is spicy and I wasn't expecting that either. My husband had the vegetable plate and liked it but noted the serving was pretty small. On the... More

In a town known for great food and many high-end pizza restaurants, Ken's Artisan rises above the others. First the crust. Ken's has thin crust tinged on the outer edges with a lovely crisp brown. Their toppings are light and very flavorful. They know how to make a Margarita pizza perfectly. Add paper thin prosciutto or order the delicately flavored... More

This place is awesome!! The food was so fresh and so tasteful. We had margarita pizza and a house salad. The pizza dough is so light and crunchy!! I loved the fresh cheese on top just the right amount!! The salad was wonderful with fresh beets! We would come back again!!

Excellent pizza. Period. We eat here every time we visit family in the area. Make this a dinner stop. Make sure your entire party is present or you won't get a table to wait.
