OUSTANDING PIZZA IN PORTLAND!!!

You only need one word to describe the pizza at Ken's - "OUTSTANDING". The crust was thin and crispy, but not overdone, FLAVOURFUL (when was the last time you had pizza crust that had a delicate subtle-sweet flavor???). The toppings were doled out in proper proportions; the beer was cold, the... read more

This artisian pizza is worth the wait. One in our group swore there's "no pizza like Chicago pizza." Well, he was blown away by the Bacon Pizza. The sauce wass zesty and the bacon made in-house. Yum! The service staff was great - they clearly enjoy their work and the pizza masters smiled and waived when we thanked them. The... More

Well, my favorite pie at Ken's is the Fennel Sausage and Onion. Not that I won't order the subtle Margherita or the spicy Arrabiata, but when I'm in a meat-eating mood, I opt for the Fennel Sausage. Just the right amount of flavor and peppery spice, without becoming overbearing. Also, very light on oil, sauce, and cheese. Thin crust with... More

Sat at bar, as tables were full at about 7:00p on Wednesday night and had no reservation. Actually don't think they take reservations. This is compact place - maybe 1200 sq ft - but area used efficiently. Space has almost no decor, but it didn't need it. I think there was one sketch or painting on wall toward rear. Space... More

There are plenty of great pizza places in town. NO need to wait. Nothing that special. Just Yelp wherever you are.

There are several great options for Pizza in Portland; Ken's is a very good choice in my opinion. The crust is fantastic and the restaurant keeps the toppings simple. Appetizer of calamari is very good--very fresh tasting. Sometimes there can be a wait so plan accordingly.

My son and his wife insisted we make this our first meal while visiting Portland. They were absolutely right. Farm fresh, straight from the oven and delicious the pizzas are made with love in a wood fired oven. The salads are a great mix of greens, garbanzos with just the right amount of dressing. Heartily recommend.

I chose to have a Caesar salad on this visit, but the pizza looked and smelled wonderful, as did the calamari. The four others in our party kept saying over and over how good the food was. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to tomatoes so I wasn't able to taste theirs as they all chose pizza with tomato sauce. Oh well, I... More

This was the best place I've eaten in Portland so far. We went on a Sunday night, and we got right in, no wait! The pizza was some of the best pizza I've had, very similar to the pizza I ate while in Italy. The service was wonderful. This would certainly be worth the wait, there are tons of shops... More

We've been to Ken's two times in the past three years. Tonight's visit was a flat line. The vegetable plate was soaked in oil and vegetables were mush. ..overcooked. Salads were very good but please list all ingredients for vegans-sake. Cheese was sprinkled into the garden salad but not included in the menu description. Finally. ..I've been a big Fan... More
