Having fallen in love with Mediterranean Exploration Company & Tasty N Alder, I was really looking forward to going to Toro Bravo & I was so not disappointed. While there are similarities in the menu items of these 3 restaurants, each is prepared differently, and I am hard - pressed to tell you which is better. Try the radicchio salad,... More

This visit we got there at opening and the crowd outside was tremendous. They do not take reservations. After opening, they were able to seat everyone waiting and by time we left, like 6:15 there was over an hour wait for tables. The food is excellent. Reminiscent of Barcelona. The prices are great and the wait staff is very knowledgable.... More

Amazing food for tapas lovers. Some exceptional flavors can be experienced here. A very good wine heavy on Spanish wines, at fair prices. Once you are in service is very good, but I have to say getting into tho place is like getting into a hot club, a real pain in the behind. They don't take reservations and we had... More

We would definitely go back. My daughter and I enjoyed a late night dinner at Toro Bravo. We ordered the tasting menu. $40 per person. We had about 13 different food items. It was the right amount of food for a late dinner. Some of the items we had were The Spanish Kisses, spherical olives. I'm not sure exactly how... More

This restaurant ranks among my top three favorite restaurants ever! We had to wait a ehile for a table, but it was worth it. The drinks were creative as well without being overwrought. Octopus? Holy schmoo! Everything was divine. The only recommendation I have is if you are hard or hearing, do not go here with someone you're wishing to... More

Went on a Monday at 7.30pm. Luckily got a spot at the bar almost instantly (someone else cancelled and we walked in at the right time). Debated on whether to get the tasting menu and really glad that we did. Was only $40 for almost 10 plates! Each dish was different and exceptionally good. The foie board, octopus and scallops... We love the paella. Best ever! We accompanied our food with Estrella beer and cocktails. Nice atmosphere. Small place so you have to come early or prepare to wait.

It's loud, it's busy even on a Monday night, and in the summer, it gets hot, hot, hot inside, but wow, is the food great! Plus, the service is exceptionally friendly and attentive, with none of that "we're too hip for you" attitude, despite the ultra-long wait and no reservations policy. We had the squid ink pasta (great), gazpacho (great),... More

Famous for their tapas, they also do larger plates. The selection is very extensive and everything we tried was very well done. They have a fine selection of wines and classic sherries. Oh, and the service was delightful. This is a busy place with lots of energy. Long waits are common but there is a great bar (unaffiliated) upstairs and... More

One of the best meals we've had out in a long time. Went with another couple, had to wait almost an hour on a Friday night and it was completely worth it. We ordered a nice variety of dishes to share, everything was super tasty, service was great. It's lovely to eat in a restaurant that prepares food simply, but... More
