My husband and I tried this restaurant as it'd been recommended to us. The food was fantastic but we felt the service and ambience let it down. Our waitress seemed a little inefficient starting to do one thing then going off to do something else. Our wine was the main example of this. It took awhile to get our drinks.... More

The burger, fries, salad and libations are outstanding at very reasonable prices. Other happy hour menu items look good as well. A very lively scene. Get their early!

We went to CC for Sunday brunch and it was great! We each had the farmer's skillet which was a protein delight-eggs scrambled with tasty veggies. The coffee was great-as it should be for Portland. I tried the Bittersweet Symphony cocktail which was as advertised-a good combination of bitter and sweet. I don't like sweet drinks and this was perfect.... More

The decor is modernist urban shabby chic. The service is good. The menu choices are quirky and interesting. The food is superb. We had the pork belly over curried lentils to start - the lentils were the best I've ever had. We also had the fried shishito peppers, which were very morish. Then, pansotti for my partner (served as a... More

The food is out of the box and left a great impression on my palate. I would certainly return to sample more offerings. Some of the vest cuisine I've had in Portland! The drinks live up to their reputation.

This was a fun, lively atmosphere, packed on the weekend with locals and tourists. I took the last spot at the bar. Cocktails were well crafted and delicious! I ordered the stuffed quail. It was not at the level I expected given the surroundings. A groom-to-be, out for his bachelor party, kindly coerced a diner out of a handful of... More

Foodies beware...you don't necessarily have to be a fading hipster to enjoy the confines of Clyde Common. Our group of 6, all in our 50's, fit right in with the common table seating and noisy vibe! All menu selections looked interesting, none disappointed...very good (but not great) experience.

Their heirloom tomato salad will remain one of my favorite memories of dining in Portland. My salmon dinner was awesome and my husband loved his as well. Service was super friendly. Upstairs is a bit quieter if you want to hear your dinner companion. One of the best restaurants in Portland for sure.

Came in with the hubs and cousin in law after seeing it on the new Esquire show "Best Bars" in Portland. We had the Spelling Bee (tequila base), Old Brixton (dark rum), and the Trident a house brew. All were delicious! The place is pretty trendy and right next to the "restaurant" which is why I gave it 4 stars.... More

After a movie a friend and I were hungry and having trouble find anywhere open in Portland after 11 pm...We remembered that Clyde Common had a late night happy hour with food and drink. All the food was great, especially the meat balls and charcuterie platter, and the negronis were as good as ever.
