Good for breakfast, lunch, drinks or dinner

We were staying in the Ace Hotel next door so ate and drank in Clyde Common every day. Quite an eclectic menu but with the advantage of no wait for a table.

We mad a last minute reservation via open table and were happy to be seated upon arriving by a friendly hostess. We had a table along the big, bright windows, which was nice. The place is a little loud, but it wasn't too much for us. The food is absolutely creative. I loved the popcorn and homemade ginger beer. I... More

The food is eclectic but delicious. Don't go there, if you are looking for huge portions and standard fare. But for foodies this is paradise! We (group of 4) had a number of things with highlights dishes: Halibut; gnocchi; chocolate-date dessert, crab feast, etc. If you are a foodie and have the opportunity, go there!

Went here on recommendation of a friend. The waiter was a little too aloof for our liking but the food was excellent and really enjoyed the cocktails as well. Was quite busy even on a Tuesday night so expect to wait a bit.

This restaurant tries to be "cool" with hipster decor, loud "hot" music, and indifferent attitudes by the staff, with overpriced innovative food. the tapas are innovative and good, but very small so it takes 3 x $17 tapa plates to get a full meal. the waiter staff is horrible.

Traveling from south Florida with friends and staying at the Ace hotel downtown. We went to Clyde for dinner, had the pleasure of meeting chef Carlo and sous chef Louie...great talented guys. Food was creative, delicious and not over the top. We went back several time to their bar for the great Americano aperitif...Benjamin behind the bar is fantastic. Kudos... More

In Portland for the weekend and my brother recommended Clyde Commons for drinks after a show. made reservations for 7:00 and when we got there the place was fairly empty. I will make this review short, but the layout is a perfect Cube, with every possible surface being hard. This makes for the perfect surface to bounce every sound from... More

We have been to Clyde Common many times last year but there were notable changes. They increased the selection by creating small plates and performing some molecular gastronomy but not to be cool but to enhance flavor. I love the changes.

I skipped the restaurant and drank and ate at the bar. Great range of spirits and well made cocktails. The crowd can be a bit too cool for school but I enjoyed my drinks. Knowledgeable staff who were eager to help. Try a gin martini with Old Raj! Bar food was decent also.

You made reservations because it was recommended by a friend. We had high expectations and were a little disappointed. The food was OK and the service was fine. I would give it another chance.
