Great Place to Go with Friends

If you've been to the Melting Pot for fondue, this is better. It's cozy, not stuffy, not pretentious, the cheeses are delicious, the deserts are yummy! I could just come for desert. Parking is insane, we had to park far away though we visited on a Saturday night. Tables are crammed in this place to the point where servers can't help but touch you when they was by. The food tasted fine and the experience was interesting but I guess we are not fondue people. We had never done it before and... More

My friends took me to Urban Fondue for my birthday. There were eight of us and they handled us well. We had three cheese fondues, three broth fondues and three chocolate/caramel fondue. The cheese varieties were all so great and yet different. The broth fondue was complicated and I would skip this next time. You were given raw meat and... More

My friend and I were visiting from the east coast and on our last night we wanted to try something different and fun. We made a reservation and were seated immediately upon arrival. I had been to a few other fondue restaurants back home and this place was pretty average compared to them. The serving size for the cheese and... More

It was hotter in the building than it was outside on a hot summer day. We had to go outside to cool off and it was over 90 degrees outside. It took over an hour to order and get our food. The food was not great and very expensive. Not worth the time and money to go.

This is a fun place for a new kind of dining experience, but it's a little spendy and the food is just ok.

The fondue was OK, a little too watery, but fine. It does not serve 2 people as it says on their menu so be prepared to order more food.

Had reservations for a booth that wasnt ready when we showed up. The smoked cheese appetizer was excellent! The main course (seafood for me and lobster for my girlfriend) was on the small side for the price but it was decent. My girlfriends lobster was fantastic! The pancetta with goat cheese was covered in a beef demiglaze that was way... More

I came here for my going away dinner with colleagues before moving back home from Portland to NYC. We had a wonderful time here and every fondue we ordered were delicious. We had about 15 people so we pretty much had all of the ones they have on the menu to share. Of course the various chocolate and dessert ones... More

I recently purchased a groupon for this restaurant. I failed to read closely the fine print that it had a short use by date and only good M-Th. We were celebrating our 33 year anniversary and decided to go to Portland for the event. Even though I grew up in SE Portland I now try to stay away as it... More
