The food here was fantastic. A bit pricey, but 100% worth it. I thought the Hungarian mushroom soup was unbelievable.

If I'm paying $15 for a reuben (no sides) I expect it to be a sandwich to remember and I shouldn’t be able to finish it in one meal. This was not the case. I ordered the turkey reuben, which was not even an inch thick - nothing like good reubens elsewhere. The bread was also very greasy and the... More

A wide variety of menu items, quality cuts of delicious meats and breads and friendly service made my large family's experience here worth repeating. The food is excellent and my group had several menu items all of which were great. I recommend the Mac and Cheese! The bathroom situation is not great - limited capacity means waiting and the waiting... More

A bagel, by nature, is a dense, doughy, chewy piece of heaven...and the earmark of any deli worthy of it's reputation. The fact that a well reviewed Jewish deli serves "blow up bagels" cannot be offset by their being in a wide array of flavors. That aside, if you are not seeking the authentic NY deli fare there are many... More

We went there as part of a food tour. The savory bagels "schmeared" with scallion sauce, pickles and Reubens brought my mind back to New York City. We would definitely go back there. The neighborhood was great--cute boutiques, produce stands, food carts, and the wonderful Food tour that we went on, and would definitely make this a "must see" on... More

After a little or lot of book shopping at Lowell's this is always great. Had wonderful beer cheese soup and wife had great salad. We have in the past had the great deli sandwiches and super breakfasts do not miss out

Stopped here as per the suggestion of someone working at the Sentinel hotel - was not disappointed. Loved that the water was served in old milk jugs. The breakfast was delicious and the portions were perfect, just enough food. Loved being able to watch the chef cook. The service was great - the waitress was very attentive and friendly. My... More

We are astounded at the reviews this restaurant receives. Unlike most writers, we had no complaints with the waitstaff. The food, on the other hand, was dreadful. We have eaten and enjoyed pastrami from Boston to San Diego. This "deli" came highly recommended by the bellman at our hotel as well as by many Tripadvisor writers. Yet the pastrami (and... More

It's a decent attempt at being a NY deli, but the food is hit-and-miss (avoid the french toast; some of the meat-based dishes are good, but not the meatloaf). The problem is the terrible service: they took our reservation for a large table and then gave away the table (even though we showed up before our reservation time). It then... More
