Andy Ricker makes amazing Lanna (northern thai) style food for a white guy. I lived in Chiang Mai for 10 yrs and know this food well. Unfortunately, I think Andy has toned down some flavors for the average customer, but he knows his ahaan Thai. He has sourced some of the harder to get greens and herbs that are critical... More

We ate here because it was recommended. Atmosphere is very urban cool. The wings are DELICIOUS. But we were expecting traditional Thai not a modern hip twist to Thai food. We got the wings, flank steak, and Cha Ca (catfish). The wings then catfish then flank steak in order of deliciousness. Our lunch was about $65 (this included tip). WAY... More

I was a hater. So many people were so excited about it and as someone who has spent a lot of time in major cities, I tend to take a "can't be that good" attitude to hype. It was that good. My husband and I honeymooned in Vietnam last year and the tastes, smells, and decor of Pok Pok brought... More

I'd never been to Pok Pok until recently, but had always read about how great it was and how much critical acclaim it got. So finally my family and I decided we would wait in the giant line and try it out firsthand. When we arrived we were told there was about a 2 hour wait, so we grabbed a... More

Awesome food but their wings are the best ever! The wait was long but well worth it plus in Portland there is tons of people watching to pass the time. It was crowded and with good reason. Great dining experience and when I am in Portland again, I will be back for seconds for sure.

This was one of my top picks to try in Portland – I arrived early afternoon on my last day of my trip and was seated immediately on the patio – which is a covered area in the front of the restaurant. It was hot outside but cool under the roof, where they have fans circulating. On the table is... More

I only go at off times because I hate to wait in line. This is a FUN restaurant. The tables are small and packed in but that is what gives off the party vibe. The decor is exotic and creative. It takes me away to Thailand (never been there but what I would expect). The food is great. This is... More

You gotta go, wait and wait, and then.....well repeat!! The most wonderful and authentic Thai food outside of Thailand. The servers are amazing, super helpful with choices and making a complete meal. Repeat!

Hot, small and limited menu. You must be a die hard Tai Food fan to go all the way out there from down town and sweat your way through a spicy meal in major heat. This outdoor seating eatery needs to at least have a big fan or something. Tables feel very closed in by the surrounding walls with not... More

A must visit for anyone going to Portland. This restaurant offers Asian food at a reasonable price. I would reccommend getting meal #7. Wings never tasted that good.
