I'm not sure if it's just because I'm not crazy about Thai food or spicy food but I didn't particularly enjoy Pok Pok. My dining partner loved it and wants to go again and take friends and family there, but I'm not sure it's worth it. The chicken was good, but nothing to write home about. I liked it but... More

This is seriously nothing special - I was surprised. I've heard nothing but praise, waited 45 minutes at 3 PM and was disappointed. There is great Thai food in Portland. Unfortunately, you won't find it at Pok Pok.

We visited this establishment with two other couples for the first time a couple of weeks ago. We tried making reservations ahead of time but had no success so we decided to get there early. We put our name on the list around 4:30 pm on a Saturday and 45 minutes later we were seated upstairs. Perfect timing. Additionally, we... More

Stopped by here on our last Portland trip with two friends. I love the set up here it's like a restaurant underneath someone's house. Everything I"ve tried so far on the menu is delicious the only critique I would have is that things do taste saltier than I'm used to - but I think that's the norm in the US... More

We were able to get a reservation for lunch with 6 people in our party with no wait time. Two people at our table had been to Thailand several times, and told us that Pok Pok serves real Thai street food. We were not disappointed. My favorites were the wings and the ribs, as well as the daily special of... More

Lots of interesting options. I ordered the wings and will order the wings every time I go back. I'm quite a chicken wing connoisseur and these were the best I have ever had. My husband got the boar, which was insanely delicious and then insanely spicy. Delicious, delicious, kinda hot, then BAM. Spiciest thing either of us had ever eaten.... More

I know that the buzz is that Pok Pok is the best Thai food in Portland...DDD certainly thought so. I'm very happy that I got to share this place with my daughter who wanted to eat their badly. The company was wonderful, but the food and atmosphere was not. 2 hour wait to sit in a hot cramped space that... More

The best thing on the menu is the wings. We ordered other dishes to try but all very average. Papaya salad, wild boar, satay pork and jack fruit ice cream sandwich.

Our friends from Tunis, Tunisia knew about this place and showed us. Wow. No reservations so go early. Wait across the street at whiskey bar, while waiting to get into the place. You won't be disappointed. It rocks.
