Very Authenic Thai down to the sweltering heat

The food is delicious and just like you would get in Thailand along with the hut decor. But the authenticity of sweltering heat in the summer was not welcome. One member of our party could not finish his meal because the heat made him so uncomfortable (and not from the spicy food but from the... read more

This was my 2nd visit here and was not disappointed with it. We started of with their wing and what can you say but AWESOME, must try them. We also got the pork belly curry which had good flavor and we got the boar, that was very good. I did enjoy that one. But the one must try is their... More

I was in Bangkok a few years ago and this food is similar to the food sold by the street vendors. This is not the food sold in most Thai restaurants and you won't find any of that food on the menu. The grilled chicken is very dry, the chicken stew has a single leg in a spicy broth and the... More

Their location at the Portland Airport is a scam. I placed an order, the guy took my money, and only then said it would take 5-10 minutes. After 5 minutes I had to leave to catch a flight. Despite not having done anything towards preparing my order, the jerk behind the counter refused to provide a refund. He then went... More

Little hole in the wall on Division. Had the Kung Hang Lehman at the suggestion of the waitress and it has become one of my favorites of all time. Went and bought the cookbook to make it. Highly recommend.

This is a no-brainer 5 star rating... Stopped in on a Sunday night, and was told it was up to an hour wait for 2 people. We hung out and waited and were seated about 35 minutes later. This place is very unique - and in a good way. I've never been to Thailand, but imagine it would be close... More

This place is the real deal and worth the wait. The flavors are intense and I tried many new dishes-- I think my favorite was a green bean dish elevated to new heights. The drinking vinegars in the cocktails were fun to try. Been here twice whenever I visit P'land and can't wait to go bcak.

We arrived at 5:15pm on a Monday. It was a 15-20 minute wait and 95 degrees out so we had some ice water from their communal cooler and walked over to the Whiskey Soda Lounge to check it out. We returned 20 minutes later but didn't have a table. We opted to sit at the bar instead. Note: You do... More

ThiS quirky comfortable place serves out of this world authentic Thal. Many of the dishes are favorites of the cooking staff from "home". Even the cocktail was beautifully well balanced. Have the wings, they are the , so hot I can't stop eating them, variety. Service was perfect and prices reasonable. If you are visiting Portland, put this one on... More

On a recent day trip to Portland with my family, tables in little rooms with a very authentic feel. The wait staff was so helpful guiding my picky teenagers toward chicken wings for one, and a vegetarian noodle dish for the other. I had noodles with prawns and pork belly, pic below. Husband had a curry dish ? The wings... More
