Top notch in PDX

A great special occasion restaurant that offers precise, well combined flavors with unique variety. We had a fantastic meal and brought several nice bottles of wine. The 5 course tasting meal was a good amount of food and the pacing was good. My only complaint was the atmosphere...which has more to... read more

We had looked forward to eating here because we had a great meal at their sister restaurant in Portland, Little Bird. Reservations are hard to get because it's a small place. They only offered a tasting menu, no a la carte. When our group ordered and explained that one of us needed gluten free, my wife and I ate no... More

I eat here occasionally, and always love what I get. Go with a good appetite. You will want to get appetizers, meal and dessert.

Only came to Portland for one night and had to choose my dinner carefully. Le Pigeon got plenty of high recommendation online and I can't stress enough how all those positive reviews are true. The food is exquisite, fresh and accurate. I was lucky enough to sit at the bar and see the three young chefs in action. The service... More

As a native Portlander, I've eaten at a lot of restaurants in this city and this is by far my favorite restaurant. I also like their other restaurant Little Bird, esp for lunch. Try the boeuf bourguignon and anything w fois gros.

One of the best meals ever. Order the Chef's tasting menu, so creative and excellent. Communal dining table allows you to meet people with similar tastes, wine list is super or BYO

Having recently moved to Seattle from San Francisco, we have been sorely disappointed by the 'fine dining' scene--both at well established and new Seattle restaurants. Ho hum. We were just about to conclude that there simply was no Michelin worthy restaurant in the NW, when we came across Le Pigeon on a recent trip to Portland. The chef here sets... More

Small intimate setting,One good size table, some smaller tables and bar dominates restaurant.Informal friendly epileptic atmosphere. Food prepared behind bar. We set at bar. Young upwardly mobile crowd. We chose this restaurant because of online rating. Very fresh, ingredients had salmon special. Absolutely best salmon I have ever had. I have had a lot of Salmon over 53 years. Will... More

Great restaurant with a very original menu and fantastic food and service. It's very hard to get a reservation as the restaurant is excellent and a bit small. If you are a "foodie", you going to love this place. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The starters are very original as are the entrees. I had the pork shoulder... More
