first visit here, all dining is at communal tables but you are not required to arrive at the same time. Bar seating, which allows you to watch the chefs, is non reserved, first come, first served. Full of young foodies, fun to chat with locals & tourists. The 5 course tasting menu next to us looked great, but we had... More

Everything tasted wonderful and was presented artfully. My wife had 3 different fois gras dishes (she loves fois gras), as good as anything she has had in France. The shared tables are very French. The restaurant is in an unlikely location in Portland, but the food more than makes up for it.

I love this funky little gourmet place where you can sit at the counter and watch the kitchen artistry. And the chef is a world-class genius. They don't take reservations, so you need to arrive a little bit before opening time; you can choose between family-style table seating or (my favorite) a place at the counter.

It's a tiny restaurant, so we did end up waiting a bit for our table despite having a reservation, but wait staff was very friendly and the meal more than made up for the wait (plus they gave us some delicious foie gras and peach toast while we were waiting). We started with a rabbit pie appetizer that was amazing... More

We had the 5 course dinner which was exquisite. The meal was delicious and food appears as artistry on a plate. Highly recommend.

Great wine selection, butter lettuce salad, beef cheek, and blueberry pot du creme for desert. I love sitting at the bar chatting with the cooks, wait staff and other patrons. Really a great evening

Foie gras profiteroles are to die for! Very inventive. Reservations definitely recommended. Small and a little loud, but well worth it.

This is the Eastside people. I am sure if any of these people went to France they would appreciate it is not that good. Michelin star worthy it is not. It's du jour and that's it. In a year it won't be there. Average menu and expensive for a tiny cramped space. Sorry I am European and it is not... More

My husband and I did the five course tasting menu and couldn't be happier. Every dish we had was wonderful. We got to the point where we didn't want to finish a dish because we didn't want it to end, especially the salmon and the door gras profiterole. Loved every bite. It was so good that I teared up. A... More
