So we were having one of those nights where we couldn't decide on a place to eat. We decided to just troll around inner SE and land somewhere. The place ended up being Iorio. From the outside it looked promising. A quick search online yielded positive reviews. Prices listed on the window looked reasonable, so in we went. The hostess... More

This Italian restaurant was absolutely amazing. The gnocchi was like "pillows of heaven", the pasta dishes were unbelievable... And we had the family dessert plate. OMG. You have to try it to believe it!

The flavor and presentation of our food was excellent. The meals are cooked to order and they can accommodate gluten free or vegetarian or any other food preferences. We had the ravioli of the day, butternut squash that was about the best I have ever eaten. We also ordered the catch of the day, halibut. The fish was perfectly prepared,... More

Delicious Italian food, emphasis on homemade with attention to detail. We had the tomato bisque, 2 salads, ravioli and an apple dessert which were all the same high caliber. Loved the deep red on the walls and artwork as well as the quiet, relaxing music. The service could be improved as had emphasis on quickly describing the creations. When we... More

Great Italian diner that is certain to please. Second time here and we found our favorites to be consistent and were pleased with the new choices. The Cheese plate is much more than that, with bread toasts, fresh fruit, preserves, spreads, and pickled items. Add the focaccia with butternut squash spread and you have more than enough appetizers for 4... More

We have been going to Iorio for several years. We are never disappointed. The food is beyond wonderful...home made real Italian food. The atmosphere is cozy and the service exemplary. The owner/chef always stops by to chat. We love this place!!

We enjoyed a terrific meal here last night. Arriving early, we were seated at the window by the attentive and personable staff. Drinks were delicious (martinis anyone?). The appetizer and salad, calamari and caesar salad with anchovies were top notch. The calamari was nicely breaded in a corn meal and served with tasty dipping sauces. The entrees, including clams, and... More

We really enjoyed our experience. This is a small, cozy restaurant with nice, romantic atmosphere. The chicken & risotto were wonderful. The chicken was so tender it melted in your mouth. My husband had the lamb ragout which was really good also. The cheese plate appetizer was a work of art beautifully displayed. The cheeses were a little strange for... More

I usually don't like Southern-oriented Italian restaurants. They are too focused on pasta with tomato sauce. This was different. We did try it on a recommendation. Everyone loved what they had and liked what tastings we shared, particularly the polenta. All of us want to go back
