Read the reviews. So stopped in to get some pastrami, corned beef and andouille sausage. Pastrami and corned beef sliced to order - perfect. Andouille is wonderful. Grabbed a sandwich and beer while there. Yum. How did I manage to miss this gem in all the years living in Portland? Shame on me.

I have frequented Otto's for years and every time I go back, it lives up to my memories. Get a sausage from the grill or venture inside for some fantastic sandwiches. It is also fantastic that you can grab an adult beverage from the fridge and have it with your meal without paying restaurant prices for said beverage. The service... More

My wife and I go to Otto's every time we travel to Portland. This is my go to place for sausages on a bun for lunch. Everything is home made and smoked and it shows. The BBQ grill (with charcoal, not propane) fires up before noon until 4:30 to 5 PM every day and the sausages taste great as a... More

A sidewalk grill and the smell of sausages cooking.. What could be better...Disappointing to say however, OTTO's once upon a time served way better sausages...It was the nostalgia of the place that brought us in...sometimes it's just better to remember the way things use to be.....

Had a great pork sausage on whole wheat bun, the rain kept us from the outside tables, but found a table, shared with 2 others, and enjoyed completely!! My Dad, owned a old fashion meat market for years, he always bought his sausages from Otto's. He said, they were the best in Portland. So, 60 years later, they still have... More

A meat market with a sidewalk grill. Can drive by or park and get delicious grilled sausages. Tasty and charismatic, a great local gem. Worth the trip and the stop.

BBQs lined up on a sidewalk outside of a meat market! I saw that and HAD to stop. Plus, the line was a dead give-away. BBQed sausage on a roll. After trying that, I went in and blew $30.00 on some of the best sausage I've ever had.

Somehow we have made pilgrimage to the great NW sausage facilities. We each got 2 buns with different sausage, my husband went back and ended up eating 4 different sausages buns. In our quest to eat at every homemade sausage place in the NW we rate this very highly.

Really fun to pick a dog off the grill and then eat it at a nearby picnic table. Nice, soft bun and the usual suspects for condiments make for a great small lunch. We eat there every time we are in Portland.

During the Reed reunion this year (my 55th) my husband and I decided to walk up Woodstock for lunch rather than eating the Commons food one more time. The fragrance of the grilling sausages drew us to Otto's. The first visit, we went to the sandwich counter. He had ham and I had BLT. That was certainly the best BLT... More
