Everything had a slight unexpected touch, from the decor to the menu items. Well prepared food; a refreshing lack of pretension; not cheap but not insanely pricey.
We started with salad, which was limp and wilted. I had spaghetti which was bland. My wife had the Fettuccini Limon, and she really liked it! The topper for me though, was they didn't give us even a single slice of bread! I don't think I have EVER eaten pasta and not been served bread with it. For that reason... More
Been here twice in past few weeks during happy hour. First time had a male server who was slooowwww, but nice. But did I mention slow? Food during hh is good...nice gyros, good hummus, great pizza. Really great. Second time we came we had a female waitress and service was mich better. Nice outdoor space, shaded, and really quite good... More
Touche is set in an old firehouse. It has a billiards area upstairs and a nice restaurant on the main level. Outside dining isn't so great because it's on a relatively busy street in the Pearl District. But every time I have been there the food and service has been excellent. I highly recommend it...eat inside in the main restaurant.... More
Been wanting to try this place for a while, so when it came up on groupon we jumped on it. The space is really cool and the deco beautiful. The service was very friendly but with one guy for the whole place it was a little slow, and he did make a mistake on our order. But what was very... More
Our first experience at this FINE restaurant in NW Portland. My wife had the filet and I the salmon. We shares entree's so we each had a personal "surf & turf" The steak was done to perfection, we ordered medium, the salmon too was done perfectly. Service was spot on. We'll be back!
Nice quiet restaurant. Food quality is very good. Choices for every one. Service is good and I will be going there again.
Four of us went to Touche the other day and had a great meal. The calamari appetizer, baked ravioli, and chicken saltimbocca were all fantastic! Everything was well seasoned, flavorful, and came out hot. The atmosphere is full of rich browns and is quasi-european, very comforting. The service is attentive, but purposefully slow. This isn't somewhere you want to eat... More

I used to live on 21st and Johnson many moons ago and remembered the room as we wandered the upper Pearl district. Lucky to catch live music...
We ordered our starters and I had the "special" which was risotto with asparagus and my husband ordered a cheese, meat and olive starter. My risotto was not nice. A really horrible taste(packet mix, maybe) and the asparagus was inch long, rock hard pieces of the end of the stalk. No tasty tips. My husbands starter came with a single... More
