On our second visit to Portland we decided on getting a brew and a meal as soon as we got out of the airport. I remembered the Alameda which is fairly close and ended having a great Black Bear Porter and delicious chicken sandwich- a wonderful welcome to the Portland flavors. It's quaint, good variety of beer and dishes and... More

This brewery is located in a nice quiet neighborhood. The beer was very good; it had its own unique taste. The food was really good too. They serve decent portions at a nice price. It was definitely worth the time to visit!

My wife and I recently had dinner here and, it was great. The pub is in a nice Portland neighborhood. The interior has a nice "industrial light" feel with tables and booths. They have a long full service bar and a great array of fresh made beers on tap. The menu is really extensive. I had the turkey pot pie... More

I have wanted to write a review about the Alameda for some time now and have just never gotten around to it. My bad , because this is a great little place that should never be overlooked. Located in the Freemont district of North Central Portland this has always been a favorite stopping off point for Friends and Family while... More

There are many breweries in Portland so we decided to try one we hadn't been to. Alameda's pictures looked pretty nice and the reviews pretty good, so we gave it a try. The place was not crowded, but a nice space. We were seated at a booth and chose the taster to test all the beer options. We ordered the... More

Service was great. Location ideal with lots of 'people watching'. Suggest you get a table outside and watch the unique folks of portland walk and ride by. Parking is difficult. If you have someone that needs assistance walking, drop them off at the front door and drive down the neighborhood streets to park. Varied menu for meat lovers, vegetarians, and... More

My husband and I stopped here for beer and food on August 25, 2012. We ordered an Amber and IPA beer. Both beers were very good. For lunch we split a sandwhich and ordered calamari as an appetizer. The prices were reasonable and food itself good. Our waitress was "okay" - neither friendly nor rude, just mediocre. The best thing... More

We go here fairly often---me for the fried oysters and my daughter for the fried raviolis. Because we are sort of routine, I can't say a lot about the other dishes. But for us, we are quite happy with what we order. Service is good, noise level is tolerable, lots of families and couples. Just a comfortable, good-value, happy place... More

Traditional micro-brew menu. Nothing spectacular, but done well.
