Live music makes this Irish pub feel traditional. The drink menu is extensive for whiskey, but fairly limited on beer. The food was good - I had a reuben, but it really needed more sauerkraut and thousand island. The soups were great. It certainly gets a bit loud later, though.

We stopped in for a pint and some lunch. Service was wonderful, food was really great and the cider on tap was fresh and delish. This pub really struck me as a very typical Irish pub in Ireland...except with better food.

We had our first meal of a business trip at this restaurant and it was delicious. I ordered the curry chicken served over French fries, due to the fact that this is a pretty unique offering, especially at an Irish pub. It was outstanding! Our waiter was super friendly- he helped us choose other places to go and told us... More

Went recently with friends for drinks and it was really bad, the beer was primarily "Kells" brand and was horrible. Stay in and drink draino, it will be more fun.

Stumbled across this while walking around. It was VERY busy so service was a little slow but understandable. Food was great and our server was very attentive to our large group. I will be back

The Portland Floral Parade is the high point of the Rose Festive each spring in Portland, OR. The hardy lot gets up early to schlep downtown to watch the floats pass by on a beautiful Saturday spring day. Afterwards, around 12:30 p.m. we left the route and found our way to Kells Irish Pub in the Skidmore area. A typical... More

Guinness with Bangers & Mash...doesn't get any more real without flying 5000 miles first. The pub side gives you the authentic Irish pup feel, but the restaurant side gives you the real taste of Ireland!

We visited on a busy weekend afternoon and it was certainly packed. Service was mixed but that may be because they were so busy (for example, we had to remind staff twice that we needed cutlery to eat and the drinks - along with the cutlery - seemed to take a while to arrive). We ate a shepherds pie (not... More

This is your local pub-type environment. It has an extensive bar and regular prices. There is an outside area to sit with no atmosphere.

We ate here for lunch on our first full day in Portland. The main room was full of raucous, loud soccer fans watching some European championship-boring! We got a table in the smaller dining room. Julia W took great care of us. I had the Reuben and iced tea (many refills provided), and my other half had Cod & Chips... More
