Fun little place with cigar lounge

We were here late on a Sunday night. There was a group of people playing Irish music. We enjoyed and Irish Coffee that was average at best for an Irish Pub. I check out the cigar room and it was quiet and dark. There was no one there and the scent of cigar was strong (good thing for me) but... read more

The decore remindedmore of pubs I'd been in in Ireland than most others. The food was great. I had Lamb Stew and thoroughly enjoyed it. The carrots werefreash andthe lamb tender. Wheaten Bread, Oh My gosh, they had wheaten bread... I don't have to go all the way to Ireland for it. The wait staff was great. lots of good tips... More

Our group of five loved everything we had. I had the fish n chips and the reds ale. A few in our group had the burger and they enjoyed that as well. It was a beautiful day to sit outside and take in the sights as well.

We got a little bit lost but checked our map and walked right to this charming pub. It was still Happy Hour so I tried their own Irish Red Ale. Very good and mellow with no bitter taste. The Kell's Burger had some of the best flavor in a hamburger I've had in years. My husband had a Reuben and... More

A historic pub complete with resident ghost! Great authentic Irish fare and tasty exclusive beers. A cigar lounge in the historic Shanghai Tunnels beneath the pub gives you a glimpse into Portland's sordid past.

Just stopped for drinks and appetizers. We were not disappointed. The ham and cheese bites and the scotch egg were awesome!! Service was great and the atmosphere was enjoyable. Will definitely return!

Two friends and I recently ate lunch here and thoroughly enjoyed the food and the excellent service. We each ordered something different - mussels, lamb stew and the Boxty of the day, which was curried chicken and lamb on the day that we were there. The Kells Red beer was a good match for the Boxty. All of our dishes... More

I went to dinner with my daughter after we decided on an Irish restaurant and beer. We were both delighted with our choice. I had a wonderful Shepards Pie . We started with Irish red ale and tasty sweet potatoe fries as an appetizer. The service was fast and very friendly. The interior of both the bar and adjoining dining... More

This is an Irish style pub and they are good at what they do. I was there on a very busy night but was still seated quickly and had very friendly service. I had the fish and chips and the fish was fresh and lightly battered and delicious, and I washed it down with a delicious red ale. I will... More

Stopped here for lunch with 13 other people and the service and food were absolutely great. I had the Dublin Coddle with Irish sausage, crubben, fingerling potatoes, and onions in a rich ham broth. I asked what Crubben was and the waitress told me it was the meat from pigs feet. It was wonderful. Full of flavor and a great... More
