The music is traditional, the beer is proper the, the people are friendly. Upstairs... Main bar ... Front and down stairs for cigars and whiskey... I am telling you, this is the real deal Irish.

Came for a beer with colleagues and had a great time. The service staff was friendly and lighthearted. The beer was cold and good. There was live music playing which really loosened up the crowd. One of the traditions of the restaurant is to offer the server a dollar to place on the ceiling. It wasn't quite obvious to us... More

Roamed about town soaking up the Christmas lights and decorations, then stopped by Kells for a drink and appetizers. Ordered off the Happy Hour menu and enjoyed Kells Irish nachos and the Gorgonzola spread, along with a few beers. The pub's atmosphere is always welcoming, the appetizers were tasty, and their locally brewed Irish stout was outstanding. Will continue to... More

Went here with a few colleagues on a business trip. The food was great as well as the service. I've never heard of the Pasty until I came here but it was excellent. I would definitely recommend trying this place.

Located close to the old town and Saturday Market area in Portland, this restaurant which has been in business since 1923 features a nice menu with daily specials and of course some Irish spirits and beer. The atmosphere evokes an older era and could be a fun place to meet with friends. Service was very good and the food hearty.

Went there twice for dinner and it was perfect and well priced. Good drinks, food and service. Great venue with a warming fireplace. We shall return and highly recommend.
