Very good food, fun atmosphere

We have been to Kells many times. We took my dad for the first time along with other family members. There were 9 of us and we had a table in the dining room which is adjacent to the pub. The dining room is more suitable for groups and does not have the atmosphere of the pub. The pub is... read more

We had four bartenders, only one of them seemed to care about us(Ellie). Good food, when I ordered food for me and said I would share with my husband, we got the food split into 2 portions. Which was nice because the portions are huge in USA. Very good selection of beer and whiskey

This was the highlight of my trip. The selection of whiskey would make a Scotsman proud and they stock Glendronach which is impossible to find. Live music, good bar staff and a good hip crowd. Go here!!!!!!!

So I have been to this establishment 4 times. (I don't like to judge a resturant because of one bad night) . The first time I went I walked in bymyself around lunch time and was ignored for a good 3 minutes. I walked out. The second time I walked in around dinner with my boyfriend and we had an... More

Very friendly. It is a micro brewery and has very good Irish food and desserts. Live Irish band on Friday nights. The bar itself is very interesting. We had 2 dinners and a lunch. Would go there again. Two block walk from hotel.

Popped in here for a couple of drinks pre concert. Chap behind bar was very friendly. As were a couple of the guys sitting at the bar. Good also looked good coming from the kitchen. Has live music but we missed this. Got a seat but it was filling up. Would visit again.

Nice place to meet friends or family for food and drinks when in downtown Portland. The food is above average pub grub. I've not been to Ireland so don't know how traditional their food is but it is tasty. It does get crowded on weekends and especially St Patrick's Day. Staff is friendly and attentive.

Wonderful lunch with family. Good service, good food - the fish and chips were the best I've ever had - even in London.

The pub was a really cool place to have a drink, but it was very busy and difficult to get a good level of service. The servers were really trying their hardest, there just wasn't enough of them. There's also a cigar bar in the basement, so if you like a smoky cigar sampling, it's a nice plus to the... More
