Great food and service

Stopped here for lunch with 13 other people and the service and food were absolutely great. I had the Dublin Coddle with Irish sausage, crubben, fingerling potatoes, and onions in a rich ham broth. I asked what Crubben was and the waitress told me it was the meat from pigs feet. It was... read more

We celebrate st. Patrick's day @ a different location every year & this is without a doubt one of the most enjoyable places to go. The music was terrific - the food was very good - the staff was most friendly & people were very orderly. Excellent crowd control & the facility was well organized for in & out traffic.

Kells Pub has an Irish celebratory atmosphere every day! You do not have to be Irish to enjoy the food and beverages, but if you are, it will feel like home. After visiting Ireland, I appreciated Kells even more. Recently I attended a staff party there. They have private rooms set aside for larger groups. They were set up, ready... More

Nice twist to a French dip. They used their beer as an add to the au jus, very tasty. Good amount of meat. I would suggest a better bun. It looked like a hot dog bun and got way too soggy fast. Fries were good and so was the price. Good service too.

I went to Kell's because they have a cigar room. They do but sadly will not staff it. Went into the cigar room not a staff member to be found, then I went to ask if they could help me and was told someone would come down but alas no one arrived, asked again and was told they we're busy.... More

On Sunday nights, Kells has live Irish performers singing for you, which is the icing on top of the cake while you're sipping on one of their cheap and great beers enjoying the place. If you like down to earth Irish bars and beer, come here. Get the red ale!

We ate so many eggs here it felt like that scene from Cool Hand Luke. Over medium, eggs benedict, and we had to try a scotch egg which was delicious. The drinks are generous, too. Close to the Saturday Market.

I visited Kells for Paint Night two days back. The place looks fun and the food is good and reasonably priced. The best part was the service and the fun vibe. The servers were delightful and very friendly! Will definitely visit again..

Friends from Portland took us here during our recent visit. The house brews were tasty and satisfying, and the food was very good. We had "Whiskey Wings" for an appetizer and washed them down with Kells IPA - a good combo. I enjoyed the Irish lamb stew while our friends had the cod & chips. I have on good authority... More

This is a great place to go for beer or more-bracing spirits and pub fare, It's a lovely old building, and the atmosphere is warming to the soul on an Oregonian Winter evening.. The shepherd's pie is one of the best I've had anywhere, and the staff make you feel welcome quickly. Prices are certainly reasonable. Definitely go here.
