Good pub fare fast service

My lovely bride felt like an Irish Pub, so we went. It is located adjacent to a not so nice area of the city. Many homeless and people of questionable character about as we walked there from a private parking area. The place has a traditional Irish feel and has live Irish music most nights. I had... read more

This is a great place to gather with friends and just have a good time. They have live music every night, and a decent menu to go with the great beer!

Good place to have a drink with your friends and for spending the night. Full op people, right in the center.

The food was certainly OK, but nothing special. Service was good and the atmosphere was good. Restrooms needed more frequent attention.

The Shepherd's Pie was very tasty and incredibly hot. If you need something definite about your burger, such as well-done remember to mention it! The building was old and creaky which with the décor made for an interesting meal. I didn't realize that the entrees were not accompanied by soup or salad; diners may want to think about that when... Celtic music by Coming Up Threes and Guinness make for an all night party. This place is huge, with fun on every level.

I play the Irish hand drum, Bodhran, and am always looking for a venue to sit in on a session. Kell's has this opportunity, sometimes, on Sunday's. It is always SO hard to find a place to sit in, nothing like Dublin where one has but to choose which place to go on any particular evening. Kell's has them, but... More

After spending the day touring by bicycle, an easy task in Portland, settle in at Kells for drinks, good food and great service! We had such a good time we wandered back over the next day and the next.

We have been to Kells many times. We took my dad for the first time along with other family members. There were 9 of us and we had a table in the dining room which is adjacent to the pub. The dining room is more suitable for groups and does not have the atmosphere of the pub. The pub is... More

We had four bartenders, only one of them seemed to care about us(Ellie). Good food, when I ordered food for me and said I would share with my husband, we got the food split into 2 portions. Which was nice because the portions are huge in USA. Very good selection of beer and whiskey
