I had a great lunch at Bridgeport Brewpub. Service was efficient, but not rushed. The food was delicious and the beer was fantastic. I highly recommend it.
We went to BridgePort near the end of happy hour on a Friday. It was busy but not overly crowded. Still, it took forever to get a beer even though we could see our waiter walking back and forth serving beer to others who had arrived and ordered after us. Still, the beer, when it arrived, was very, very good,... More
Bridgeport Brewpub is a big place with a large upstairs bar area. Beers are good and they have a selection of more up-scale, non-pub type food. Our friend always gets the Vegan Bowl and loves it. However, my wife had the corn chowder and it was so thick and rich (and a large serving), that she could only eat a... More
BridgePort has a variety of terrific beers and ales including seasonal ones. Their food is much better than the usual pub food. We have always found the servers to be friendly and attentive, even when the place is packed as it was on our visit last week. We had to wait a long time for a table but we were... More
I enjoy full bodied robust lager, ale, and I was delighted. I enjoyed two fof eight of the offerings with the meal I ordered. The lentil soup was good with a nice earthy subtlety, the pork chop w sweet potato and swiss chard was excellent. The chard was flavourful and basted in a delicious sauce. The presentation was vibrant, with... More
Lots of space to hang out here..bar area, dining room, up and down. Attractive and clean. Good server. The mac n cheese is the best I've had in a long time. Another reviewer is right about the pizza and it's large amount of crust.
The food is excellent and so is the beer. But there is a long wait in the evenings and no reservations are taken. We are not very patient about waiting, so we left one evening, but returned another around 5 p.m. Perfect timing! No waiting then. We tried the beer sampler; pulled pork excellent (more than enough for two).
I visited this evening with several friends and was generally appalled at the bad food and bad service. Nachos arrived burned as did the hush puppies. One friend's burger was barely edible. I will say that some people in my party enjoyed their food (people with mac and cheese seemed happy), but mine was inedible (sand and grit in an... More
This is a bgreat place to visit more than once ifyou are a beer lover. I am not. But being a first time visitor, I had to tick it off the list. I loved the place and liked one summer ale beer. The food was very good. Plenty of veg selections and the atmosphere was electric. There is a big... More
