Feeling rather jet-lagged early on in our holiday we just fancied a slice of pizza and staying not far away we were duly sent with an excellent recommendation from the hotel staff - we absolutely loved every mouthful, this where thin and crispy have been done to perfection! Loved it.

After having tried numerous "by-the-slice" pizza places, this one stands out. Great crust, homemade sauce and generous toppings make this hand tossed pizza my favorite. I will continue to buy whole pies and slices pizzas here, it's the best in Portland!

Pizza by the slice, probably the best that you can get in Portland! Walked from our hotel room down to the Alphabet district. Excellent pizza.

My four buddies and I ordered up some take out pizza right after flying into town over Labor Day weekend. Pizza is tasty and the price is reasonable. In New York City fashion, the toppings are limited and that's the just the way it is at this place. We had a couple of cheese pizzas and we were very satisfied... More

Having grown up on New York City pizza, I can tell you that this guy took the recipe with him when he escaped. Really good if you like thin, but not Neapolitan thin, cheesy pizza with just the right amount of sauce. Would have liked to see a slice with tons of veggies but I guess I could have custom... More

Great pizza and the most reasonably priced for a family of six! Delicious thinner crust pizza. We had pepperoni, sausage, mushroom and onion. 25 cent refills on soda. Not a fancy place. Order at the counter and find a seat either at the small counter inside or at two outside tables. Best pizza I've had in a long while!

Rolled into Portland and were starving. A local pointed us to Escape From New York Pizza because they were open late and we got a couple slices, a caesar salad and some drinks. Very satisfying and cheap! Quick too.

While this is a small place, children and I found their pizza to be delicious! Hopping busy place with great selection of beverages for kids and adults, with special note on the local, tasty beers that were offered. Children enjoyed the pizza making in the front window. Not a full sit down restaurant, older place but was recommended by friends.... More

Pepperoni pizza was thin, greasy and tasty. Service was a little rude and restaurant could use a cleaning. Value was average. Next time I will try a different pizza place.
