I had a great breakfast here

The waiter tried extra hard to make sure I was happy with my meal . We ordered an egg dish and a waffle and fruit dish, and shared both with my wife. They were nicely split for us by the kitchen. The juices were also very nice. It was a bit crowded but still worth it.

Loved it for breakfast. Long lines but they moved us along quickly and had the cell to call you when ready as well as a man to come looking for you. I loved the decor and the fun mix of people. The bar looked fun - we didn't get to experience that part of it. Recommended.

We dropped by on a Sunday morning as we were leaving Portland and we were THRILLED with our experience. The coffee was hot and full bodied. My husband and I each ordered an omelette that was prepared PERFECTLY! It was a wonderful experience with really friendly wait staff in a beautiful location. I'd definitely recommend!

Excellent service and food, always busy, need a reservation if not you will wait. The only negetive is your are very cramped into the restaraunt so not alot of elbow room, and of course a bit noisy, but great food

We stopped by for breakfast on a recommendation from our hotel staff. First good sign of a satisfying breakfast was the line of people waiting to partake in this bistro's breakfast. We grabbed a couple of seats at the bar and were promptly greeted with a big welcome smile from one of the bartends. We highly recommend the Blueberry Pancakes... More

This place was amazing! One of the best steak frites I have ever had! The service was top notch and the atmosphere was nice but not stuffy. Could not have had a more perfect dinner, simply wonderful.

I recently visited my daughter in Portland. She told me that I HAD to go to Mother's. She was right. The atmosphere, service, and food were all excellent. Even though they were extremely busy, the staff were very professional and pleasant. The wait staff smiled and remained positive although it was obviously busy.

Had a late breakfast. Estimated 15 minute wait but took less time. Think we slid in between breakfast and lunch rush. Got a prime window table. Excellent service. Food took a bit longer but we weren't in a rush. Big big plates of well seasoned, crispy and creamy potatoes and eggs. Was a good recommendation from our hotel. She did... More

We went here for breakfast on a tip from hotel staff. The seating is pretty tight, but the decor is so cool and the food was fantastic. We had omelette, eggs, and waffles. The omelette was superb. Service was top notch. It was so good we went back for dinner. Mothers make you feel like family.
