We went for breakfast the first day and it was delicious. We didn't have reservations but they do take them for breakfast I would definitely recommend to make them if you plan to visit. We went back 2 days later for dinner and it was just as great. I had the chicken and dumplings and it was delicious. The service... More

Well worth the trip! Whatever their omelet special of the day is - get it! Amazing! My husband had the french toast, and I practically had to beg for a bite. It was delicious. Great coffee here too!

Our server was polite, friendly and adorable. My omelet was outstanding. Potatoes were well cooked and spiced perfectly. I only wish I had a bigger stomach so I could have finished every last bite! A must-visit for travelers or residents. I loved Mother's!!

Went thru Portland to go have breakfast at Mothers. There were people literally hangin out the doors but they do a great job of getting people thru without making one feel rushed. Our server was wonderful and the food was terrific and plentiful. I had Migas which I miss from Texas and husband had Apple Pork Sausage Scramble. None left... More

This was our first time here for dinner. Have been here several times for breakfast and it really is one of the very best places to get breakfast in Portland. Our server was great; a tad slow on our drink order (two of us ordered Margaritas, not the spicy one, but the ones we were served were too spicy for... More

We ate here on our last morning in Portland and what a way to go out! The salmon hash is perfection. I almost never want to have salmon again, because I want to remember the taste of this hash forever. The service was top notch. I will tell everyone visiting Portland to put this restaurant at the top of their... More

We were told this was a great place to eat, so my daughter and I ventured here on a Sunday morning which happened to be Mother's Day. We had no reservations, but arrived just in time to only wait about 20 minutes. By the time we were seated, the place was packed. In spite of the holiday and volume that... More

Old fashioned atmosphere, ample food, very good service and a birthday surprise huge piece of cake that was worth every calorie! My son and I had just said that we were so stuffed we would have to get dessert later, when our gracious waitress, Samantha, brought a gigantic piece of luscious cake complete with a lit candle, simply because I... We love Mother's...I had the wild salmon pot pie on the MOM Menu this weekend. It was yummy, but quite a large portion. Our waiter was very entertaining and friendly and provided great service. It's a wonderful special occasion place for my family.

On an absolute scale, this is probably a 3 rated restaurant for me, but because the waiter was so helpful and friendly, because the food was excellent, and especially considering the price (the entrees were about $15 or so, not as expensive as the other restaurants we went to in Portland on this trip), I am giving this restaurant a...
