Great service, entrees okay

Such a cozy restaurant, great slogans on their tshirts, and filled with vibrance and smiling faces. We went on a Sunday and had brunch, the crab benedict was to die for. The egg cooked to perfection. Hot and oozed out over the fresh crab when cut into, crispy, not soggy english muffin and the lightest hollandaise sauce ever. Champagne cocktails were... More

We were on a road trip from Seattle, WA to Newport, OR, and we had asked a friend about a good place to stop for brunch in Portland, OR, which is about half-way of our road trip. We walked into the restaurant on a Wednesday without a reservation around noon, and we were seated quickly. The atmosphere of the restaurant... More

Try the French toast, the cornflake crust adds a nice crunch and it is delicious. Also, the breakfast nachos are amazing. They are everything that is sacred about breakfast potatoes - crunchy, cheesey, bacon-y. If heaven serves breakfast, these are on the menu.

Wonderful food and service! It's one of those "to die for" kind of places. Seriously consider splitting their large portions or leave your "can't indulge" attitude at the door and just go for it. Servers are fun to watch in action; personable, efficient, and memorize your orders. These are pros; not some student looking for a quick gig to earn... More

Enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere, casual but upscale. Food was excellent. Waitstaff was very helpful in suggesting how to experience the most of their specialties through a combination of small plates and entrees.

My husband and I got a recommendation to try Mother's so we went on Saturday when we were in Portland. We arrived around 11:30 and the wait was 45 minutes, which I expected. They will text you when your table is almost ready so you don't have to wait around the restaurant. We went and walked by the river and... More

The Mrs. and I heard this was a good place for breakfast, so we took the MAX from our hotel to check it out. There was a long line of folks waiting to be seated web. We arrived but decided to stick with the estimated thirty-minute wait. Fortunately, we got seated in less than ten minutes. I had a tasty... More

Believe everything you read about this place. Sooooooo good. Family owned, freshly made from scratch delicious food and lots of tables to keep waits at a minimum if there is one. There's a reason they're crowded.

Though there is most always a wait, it is worth it! I love the decor. Gold mirrors, chandeliers. Classic. The servers give exceptional service! I had the omelette special, filled with mushrooms, ham and swiss cheese. And, I also had the Mayan Mocha. Sure, it was before noon, but who cares! Delicious. I want to eat here more often. So...
