Had a delicious dinner on the 30th floor at the Portland City Grill tonight- a restaurant rich in ambience with a wonderful menu of fresh fish and steak choices. I had requested a window table for our party of 4 and not only got one, but we got a corner table with a broad view of Portland and the rivers... More

On our way up the elevator we met one of the chef's, he was very friendly and nice. The view was especially spectacular after dark. This was a party with preordered food, once the waitress saw that there were a few children she immediately suggested she order them special items more to their liking.

Had the great pleasure to dine at the Chefs Table during a business dinner. We had a large group of 12 and enjoyed numerous tasting plates and matching wines. Service was faultless and really added to the experience particularly the knowledgeable and interesting introduction of each course. The provenance of local ingredients and the creative skills. The kitchen made it... More

We go here every year for our Anniversary and every year we are just as happy with it as we were the previous year. The wait staff is amazing and very attentive. The calamari is by far the best I have ever had and I love the twist that they put on this dish. Their saffron cioppono soup is a... More

Portland City Grill has a view that is second to none in Portland. Located on the 30th floor, it overlooks the river and downtown. The food is very good here. Our service was a little slow and it took over an hour to get our food but it was well worth it. I would have appreciated a little more attention... More

One of the best settings in Portland, the City Grill is on the 30th Floor of the US Bank Building. it has commanding views of the Portland skyline and Willamette River. The bar area faces south, toward downtown, and east, across the river. We went for happy hour and had great small plates and good drinks, all reasonably priced. We'll... More

We arrived for dinner and we were seated at a lovely window table with anniversary sprinkles. Waiter was very nice and the nice warm bread was very good. The apple and hazelnut salad was interesting. Piled high on a too small plate but very tasty although they chopped up the apples in bits so small you couldnt get them on... More

We were visiting Portland for the first time and although we knew this probably wouldn't be the BEST food in town, the chance to have the 30-floor-up twilight/city light view was hard to resist. Made reservations for 8:15 but got there about 45 minutes early because we were done with our touristing and figured hey, we could sit in the... More

We try to get to Portland at least once a year. Every time we come we say let's try the Happy Hour at the Portland City Grill and we never get there. Well yesterday we did and it was outstanding. We weren't able to get a window seat but still enjoyed the view which is truly spectacular. The food was... More

As others have mentioned, the view from this 30th-floor restaurant it good. The calamari appetizer is unique and excellent. Everyone in my group enjoyed their food, though take note that when they say they cook the pork chop to medium, it's more like rare. Luckily, the portion was huge and I ate just the part done to my liking. (We... More
