Great location overlooking the city. We stopped by during happy hour on Wednesday. The cocktails and appetizers were great and very reasonable (love those grits!). The had a piano player who was outstanding and versatile. We were told he was there Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Unfortunately, when we went back the following night, we got there right at 7 pm... More

Husband and his brother stopped in for dinner while at a trade show and were stunned by the views from the 30th floor restaurant. Prices in line with a business dinner but worth it - a great special event location. Happy hour was extremely busy. Came at 5:30 on Friday evening with no reservation and got seated within 10 minutes.... More

This restaurant is no grill. Nestled high on the 30th floor of the Bancorp Tower, this place has the best view of the city, anywhere. Best to go just at dusk to get the effect of the daylight and night views. The food and service was also great. One of the best steaks around. Jamie E took care of us.... More

Portland City Grill was right across our hotel, the Courtyard. It was the perfect place to go for a late night bite during their happy hour. Not a surprise that it was loud and packed on a Saturday night. We could not find a table and sat at the bar. Even if it's bar food, I expected better quality because... More

Stopped by mid-afternoon on a Monday and we were able to score some prime seating by the window. We ordered a couple of drinks while enjoying the view. The skyline was nice and service was friendly. Can't remark on the food since I only had cocktails but certainly worth a visit for the view and a drink.

The nite Skyline view of Portland is impressive, but $160 for a single entre', appetizer, salad and four drinks for average food and sub-par service...??? If you looking for a who's who people watching show then this may be your place, but your money and experience will go further elsewhere...

Every city I have ever visited (over 100k) population, has a scenic restaurant or a selection of places that illustrate something beautiful about it. Often the restaurants with a view offer high prices and moderate to good food. Many times the view is not worth the effort, wait, or price. This place is definitely a score as the food is... More

The place is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. We went there on a Friday night for our wedding anniversary and had a wonderful time. They decorated our table according to the occasion. Service was excellent. They have a nice wine list, we had a bottle of a yummy Argentinian Malbec. I loved their version of Caesar salad, it was... More

Despite the fact that this restaurant could rely on its view and offer for food it offers excellent meals. All of our dinners were very good and the view was spectacular I would come back to this place.
