Good brunch with good views

1st, make reservations. A must have. Location has a great view of the river or the airport (I enjoy watching planes take off and land). Food was good and staff manning stations were friendly. The table next to us had some drunk folks who got out of hand (we had a child with us) but staff was very... read more

We arrived early for our reservation and were told that it would be 20 to 30 minutes before we could be seated, so we went upstairs to the bar and ordered a cocktail and appetizers. The drinks were well made and reasonably priced. The appetizers (coconut shrimp and clam chowder) were very good. In due course we were seated for... More

We arrived at 235. The hostess asked us if we were there for happy hour. Funny because we were two forty year olds with a child. We said no lunch. She insisted happy hour isn't about drinks it's just about being happy and that she was going to save us some money Ok???? So we went upstairs and she wanted... More

Best seafood ever in a great location right on the Columbia river not far from Portland airport. Big deck for outdoor dining and a sizable dining room.

While volunteering at the LPGA Portland Classic, I had the opportunity to dine at Salty's 4 out of my 5 nite stay. Everything I tried on the menu was outstanding. Well prepared and well presented, the flavors and combination of spices and seasonings was spot on. Service was absolutely top notch, always there but not obtrusive. If you are anywhere... More

This was our first time at Salty's and we had a phenomenal time! We met my cousin for a mini-reunion and happened to pick Sunday brunch. What a spread...and for a decent price, too. The wait staff were super friendly and very attentive. The offerings included everything under the rainbow..the Rockfish, prime rib and made-to-order crepes were notable. I especially... More

Salty's was busy without being crowded on Friday evening. The service was great, the food was worth every penny. The view of the Columbia River was mesmerizing. A jazz trio rounded out the fine experience.

This was our third--and probably last--time eating here. The view is magnificent. The place is always crowded. It seems like a place to take out-of-towners or for tourists. The food... well, it reminds me of the joke Woody Allen tells at the beginning of "Annie Hall" about the two women complaining about the food at a place in the Catskills.... More

We took another couple for lunch that were visiting the Portland area for the first time and wanted to start their trip off right. Lunch outside at Salty's fit the bill perfectly. Amazing dishes (seafood, beef and vegetables ), very good wait staff and a awesome view of the Columbia River. We were there @ 2pm and no crowd on... More

All you can eat buffet with all you can drink mimosas. Great service, with a diverse selection of quality food. This popular destination has fish, crab, carved ham and prime rib, crepes to order, chocolate fountain with various fresh desert selections and a full bar with skilled bar tending. Valet parking is free. The view is awesome.
