Fun & Fabulous Farm Cafe

Loved the food here - it was an unusual menu and was worried about kids not enjoying it but everything was very flavorful and the service was great.

I am from Northeastern Florida and have never visited Portland. But, I have heard raves about how fresh the food is here and have heard plenty about the farm to table movement in general. While there are restaurants in St. Augustine, nearby to where I live, that profess that they adhere to the farm to table philosophy, it's not on... More

We ordered Williams Baked Brie and Smoked Salmon Deviled Eggs for appetizers. The Brie was better than the eggs. For salads we ordered Butter Lettuce and Beet Salad, both were okay, but nothing to get excited about. For entrees we ordered Braised Lamb, which is served like a stew, Preserved Lemon and Feta Ravioli, Potato Gnocchi. I felt the lamb... More

Great service from beginning to end Food was spot on! Appetizers were unique, lamb burgers fresh and the taste makes you want more. Manhattan made just the way I like. I can't wait to come back again.

i have enjoyed all my meals here but the beet salad as a starter completed by the most amazing lamb dish I have ever tried makes this a stand out place. The service is excellent the people friendly, the food fresh and original, It will be the place i take visitors from out of town.

Six of us visited for my birthday and were underwhelmed. The place was quaint, food good, but service poor. Maybe they were trying to give us time to chat but we had to ask to give our order for appetizers after sitting for some time, and finishing the bottle of champagne preordered for us. After being served, my meatballs were... More

Zagat says it's so Portland it hurts. Take it from this Portlandian: it just hurt; this town has better options. There were 8 of us. Mixed drinks. Bottles of wine. Salads. Entrees. Desserts. usually, that brings out the best in waiters eager to please, anticipating a generous tip. But not this time. 1) Thrown Off by Gentlemen I understand that... More

I appreciate the farm to table ethos. Good beer and wine menu. Appetizer was excellent but main dish was a little over salted for my taste.

Very good service was only outdone by the culinary creations. We had trout, halibut, vegetarian ravioli and gnocchi. Had an awesome array of cocktails as well.

I was staying nearby and decided to eat at the bar. Great selection of local distilled spirits, I started with the beet salad, a good choice then the grilled Tofu with mashed potato(excellent) and finally the Strawberry Pound Cake (okay). I do like this place and would come back to try some lamb or trout.
