Cant Beat Happy Hour

I think this restuarant is a little pricey for what you get in quality of food, but their happy hour mararitas and the happy hour burger and tacos are a steal. Otherwise not a fan of Caribbean food.

Enjoyed dinner at Oba with colleagues while in town for a meeting. The atmosphere of the room was very warm an inviting on a chilly, rainy evening. The server was prompt and efficient and able to explain any questions on the menu very well. Food was served quickly but not rushed and everything was well prepared and tasty. The menu... More

The food here was excellent. My sister and I had the Mahi Mahi while our friend had the pork tenderloin. Our server was wonderful and quite attentive. There were several bachelorette dinner going on so it was a bit loud, but otherwise, wonderful. We all loved the decor. We will try it again on a week night!

Made reservations and had to wait a little bit, which was understandable it was Valentine's Day weekend. Our server wasn't as enthusiastic as we hoped at first, but was still nice and helpful. Our drinks and food came out really quick and everything was delicious! Another associate came by to check on us and asked if he could clear some... More

Blood orange margaritas to die for....really excellent nachos (which I rarely order), wonderful squid salad and a delightful Caesar. Need I say more? I love this happy hour menu.

We (My husband, my son, his wife and part of her family) were seeing a show at the Oregon Ballet Theatre. We wanted to have a nice small dinner before the show. When I heard it was a Latin American restaurant, I immediately thought of Mexican type food. Instead I got a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent, portions were... More

Oba is a great Latin American restaurant in the Pearl District. Dinner is good and there are many local and regional choices . The dining room gets to be loud later in the evening. We prefer the bar, which is warm and comfortable. Tapas and dinners are available in the bar. Drinks are good, don't miss the Pisco Sour!

The wife and I made a decision to try something different and had heard about this place from multiple friends, so we decided to give it a try. We had a reservation but arrived early and started in the bar area. Great vibe and atmosphere and definitely a "hot spot" in Portland! We ordered some appetizers-all of them fantastic! Additionally,... More

This is a great downtown Portland spot! Top two things to try: fresh made guac (made at the table!!) and a pitcher of margaritas (awesome options). I tried out their happy hour a couple of weeks ago. I was very impressed with the options. Their food is to die for! I have also been on the restaurant side a handful... More
