Delicious Latin cuisine!

Went here with a group of friends in the pearl district. Read the reviews and thought I would give it a try. The reviews did not disappoint. Had the macadamia nut crusted swordfish, small portion, but great flavor! Split the guacamole made tableside; fresh guacamole at its best! Spendy, however a... read more

One of the best happy hour i have had in a long time. Go early as it gets busy. We had fabulous Mexican appies and yummy margarita's. The service was great.

its a shame that the service here was terrible. we were 3 and we sat outside on the sidewalk. it was a beautiful evening, and we were in time for happy hour. food was good, but our order was incorrect and then when it went to get fixed, it didn't come out until we asked for the check. the waitress... We were expecting some fresh, tasty latin cuisine and we got mediocre and surprisingly greasy food. Overall the meal was ok, but somewhat disappointing. The atmosphere and wait staff were excellent, but sadly the food didn't live up to that same standard.

Had dinner there with a group of approx 20 people. Menu was tailored and we were offered a private dining room. It was well taken care off, and the food was really nice. I have visited Oba before, a la carte, and I recall the quality of the food is very good. This menu, were there was a limited selection... More

Restaurant was nicely decorated. Warm and inviting. Took a while for a hostess to come over and seat us so we just ended up going on the self-seat side. The food was so good! Me and my friend ended up ordering a few tapas rather than a full meal since those were a little pricier. We ended up getting the... More

Oba has a great Happy Hour! The Mojitos and Margaritas are wonderful and the food is delicious. There are many food choices and the portions are generous. Combined with a great atmosphere and excellent service, Oba is definitely a go-to for Happy Hour in the Pearl!

The interior of this restaurant is really well done. Lovely atmosphere and not too noisy. We started with drinks and guacamole prepared at the table. It was delicious and you could pick and choose ingredients to your liking. I ordered butternut squash enchiladas which were outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.

I think this restuarant is a little pricey for what you get in quality of food, but their happy hour mararitas and the happy hour burger and tacos are a steal. Otherwise not a fan of Caribbean food.

Enjoyed dinner at Oba with colleagues while in town for a meeting. The atmosphere of the room was very warm an inviting on a chilly, rainy evening. The server was prompt and efficient and able to explain any questions on the menu very well. Food was served quickly but not rushed and everything was well prepared and tasty. The menu... More
